I can see your point, but boxing is different to many other sports, as there isn't that partisan nature to it, whereby you're set in your ways for life.
I myself loved both Hearns & Leonard; they were both remarkable fighters that have made the sport of boxing a pleasure to watch.
I must admit, I was more of a Leonard person when they were fighting, but during the passage of time, I have come to appreciate Hearns more & now am actually more of a fan of his now, even though I still retain admiration for Leonard.
I'm also similar when it comes to Ali & Frazier.

I appreciate hagler much more than I used too, but he still doesn't vault from someone I cheered against to my favorite. I just started watching everything in 76, so I started a huge Ali fan and grew into being a fan of both he and Frazier, with Joe being well ahead in my preference. Just weird for me to grasp someone's 4 favorite fighters being Morales, pac, mab & Jmm.

Yep I was a huge fan of Morales and Marquez. I like Marco Antonio Barrera and would've rooted for him against most fighters. I'm not a fan of Pac. Liked him at first, but as time has went on I think less and less of him.
