Yeah. Howard Davis. One team mate, James Dingle told me once he was 1-1 vs Howard.

The deaths by years list most part the names unknown to me. But.. Virgil Akins died 1-22-11 all or most die hard fans know this.
Manny Liebert died in 2011 listed in BoxRec archives. I knew him personally. Backed Nando AJ Sierra to become a lawyer (Nando was a NCBA runner up at Heavyweight one yeR).
Christy Elliott dead since 2011. Fame.
Everyone knows Henry Cooper died.
Billy Costello I presume most fans know he died in 2011.
Butch Lewis dead (2011), "old news."
Everyone gotta know Scott LeDoux died in 2011. That guy.....he got milage for what he had! Always entertaining.
Club boxer Brian Sargent died in 2010. 16-16 pro. Fought some 'names.'
Anders Eklund died 4-1-2010. This will be news to many reading this stream.
Ted Lowry died. You think all know that! [I was arms length from him once. & I know a top secret about the career of this FIGHTER!]
Denny Moyer, huge name in boxing. Well known he is gone (June 30, 2010).
Mac Foster died in 2010.
Claude "Humphrey" McBride died at age 74 in 2010. His bio is a must read! "Just like that....."

Bennie Briscoe, more fame than any of the past THREE Presidents! Died just before the year turned, December 28, 2010.
A boxer named Vadim Yemelyanov 1964 Olympian died May 27, 1977. L-Rsc2 (1:59) to Joe Frazier in the semi-finals.
So...since I pride myself knowing a strong volumn of names....I know few in these lists! So, always like to learn new history. I looked up Cowboy Coates who is dead from 1-14-11. *Human 253476. Guess what: their is no information to be found there.
So..I looked up Joey Haddad. He died 1-15-11. Age 89 ("party!"). Syrian American Boxer. 31(15)-7(0)-0 career. Southpaw/welterweight. L 4 of final 6. Career: 1941-46.

3 time WBA champ Antonio Cermeno died in 2014, got shot by rebels or something.
