He was fired up after seeing the French celebrating a few feet away from him! At times he looked like he had been indulging with a few cocktails before they went on air.

Strange how Haye's not got a fight lined up despite all the Briggs nonsense and Haye doesn't seem to be interested in getting some rounds in and testing himself against decent opposition before getting a title shot so maybe now is cashout time.

That would be a Buster Douglas beating Tyson level of surprise.

Matchroom aren't in any hurry to take that level of risk with Joshua, are they? They were touting Hughie Fury like it was some fight of the decade a few weeks ago.

A pudendum of puffins

I live in central North Wales, on the coast. A mile or so off shore there's a little island called "puffin island". Aptly named due to fact it's inhabitants are a thousand or so puffins, nothing else. You could say a true pudendum of puffins... or so it was, for hundreds of years, until they started doing tourist boat trips there and two rats hitched a lift. The rats multiplied, killed all the puffins, and now inhabit the island.

It's still called puffin island.
They still do boat trips there.

Moral of the story. Old Indian proverb. It's takes a long time to furnish and island with puffins, but a rat or two will ruin it in seconds.

Happy ending is we recently poisoned all the rats so the puffins would come back. Rat island didn't pull the tourists.

There's a Puffin Island in Cornwall as well. Puffins are great.

Would be a credible statement if he'd fought the Furys & Klitschkos of the division. I really cannot stand Joshua.

Joshua v either Parker or Pulev for me would be good, but got a feeling it will be Stiverne so eddie can say Wilder's best win is also Joshua's leading to a fight next summer in America

I'm going to be positive here, I reckon it's Pulev.

Would be an interesting fight. I think Joshua would probably end up walking through him though due to Pulev's lack of power.

I like any of the top 3 but I've wanted to see him in with Pulev for a while, I think many under rate him after his fight with Wlad.
I also think he is heavier handed than many give him credit for. He's no Wilder or Joshua, but the lad still carries a hefty dig, from what I've seen of him.
I think this would be a real test for Joshua and if he won it, would teach him a few things IMO

Fairly sure it's Pulev.

Top 15 WBA, WBC, IBF and WBO. Easily Joshua's toughest opponent. Agree with Davie above, he's not a one-punch-KO kind of guy but he can wear people down and if he can land consistently on Joshua he could slow him right down.

Don't think we'll see Stiverne on the bill though - Whyte/Chisora maybe. I reckon Price will be on but not against Parker.

Out of the three fights, Parker v Price sounds the most likely. Parker and Price have both said they want the fight, and both see it as a stepping stone to Joshua, so not likely to be that expensive to finance.

With Stiverne mandated to fight Povetkin, Pulev is definitely in the running, but there has been some suggestion that Pulev is not biting at the moment - not entirely sure why. Might be his last dig at a world title.

Chisora vs. Whyte sounds like the furthest fight off from happening, more so because Chisora is so temperamental. Whyte has said quite clearly that he wants it, I guess it just depends if Chisora sees it as a route to another world title shot. Both fighters are keeping pretty active, so never say never.
