Barrera didn't come close to a legit KD on Morales in the 12th of their first fight. It's happened in many fights. Neither of those were the cleanest KD's as far as punches go, but he went down. Even if it wasn't a KD, Hearns clearly won the round and the fight. Alp would be arguing with Leonard about that decision, that's how delusional he is with his big 2.

And when you rule that a KD as it was indeed ruled...(KD or not)...it gets harder to justify.

It's two of the top 15 fighters ever in my estimation, neither needs over the top cheer leading and rationalization.

Or if you are Hearns Biased, Hearns wins by 2 to 3 points or more.
It was close, but Hearns deserved the squeaker win in that encounter.
It's one of those fights, where the loser suffers no harm to his career or his reputation, because everyone kinda sorta knows what happened.
They don't... I had Hearns winning it close... Some had Leonard winning because he did more damage... There were some close rounds... If you beat somebody like Terry Norris beat Leonard a 5-year-old kid can tell who won.. That's pretty much what you have to do because of the incompetent judges in Boxing -- which hasn't gotten much better since the 1950's.. It's something that could be fixed, but I don't think its going to be addressed in our lifetime.

Not sure it's as certain as to it's cause though.
But...if it's ruled a KD....all the more reason to question the math of that outcome.
If you get a chance, watch it on Youtube. It is not a gray area. It is clear as day that Hearns pushed him.
