Agreed. Chisora has a much more credible resume than Price.
Has he though really? I mean he's got more names on his resume but he's lost to all of them.
I don't rate Malik Scott much but he shits on anyone Price has beaten. Also Edmund Gerber as well I'd say. Most people think he beat Helenius and he's put up a much better account of himself against the very best in the division than Price did at even European level.

The losses to Vitali and Helenius (should've been a wide win), as well as the win over Scott, are better than anything Price has done. I also think there's a good chance that Gerber would've defeated all of the fighters Price beat, and heck, were any of Price's victims clearly better than Kevin Johnson?
Chisora has been a very credible EBU level guy in my opinion, but can the same be said about Price? For some reason a lot of people thought he'd walk over Teper to win that title, but we all saw what happened, just as it happened the other two times he fought above British level.

He also has much better wins tha Sexton and Audley Harrison, lost only to much better opponents and in a more competitive way, with the one exception of Fury 2.

Not sure it would tell us a lot about Joshua's chin. Chisora is not exactly a big puncher. He kind of grinds down wins rather than is a knockout artist. Joshua gave him his chance, but Chisora was claiming that Joshua 'nothing he wanted'. Oh how the tables have turned!

Not in punching power, but he would have come back at him, all the time.

Pretty valid. WIthout getting a big payday there would be little to gain for the fight, since I think a win wouldn't get Chisora much credit and more just make people think Joshua got exposed. The payday offered to him just wasn't big enough.
I don't think Chisora would test his chin as much as his heart.

I think Price will beat Parker if they are too meet. Far too much hype about Parker imo and I just dont see it myself.
He didn't excactly look great againts Takam and seemed to fade quite badly in the mid rounds. Takam isnt a puncher and Price may have his limitations but he can certainly bang. I see him catching Parker early and taking him out.

Yet another comment about Parker being a hypejob. These seems to be at least as common as the claims that he'll be a superstar fighter or even a good champion one day, and I think people like you and lefty believe that Parker is generally rated more highly than he is.
So what if Parker didn't look great when taking a huge step up against top 10 Takam? Teper was unimpressive against people far worse than Takam (a split decision over a 6 fight opponent, a close fight with Rossey, etc.), but he still flattened pawing Price, and of course Takam widely beat 2x Price conqueror Tony Thompson. Now how did Price look against Thompson, Teper, and Pala? Or how about that tiny opponent he laboured to a decision over? Funny thing is that Price was the comfortable favorite in all of his lossess, despite having never won at those levels, so I guess some people never learn.
For all this talk of Price's power, where has it gotten him as a pro? He's been embarrassingly knocked out all three times he's stepped beyond Audley Harrison level, and it's not like old, slow, average hitting Thompson and plodding, open Teper are far better than Parker. Even Pala had Price on his ass, and he doesn't possess nearly the same type of speed, power, or overall ability that Parker does.Price shits himself when faced with solid opposition who fights back, because he knows what happens when people land on his glass chin, and even when he does hurt opponents he's hindered by poor stamina. So he's got one notable strength, like a lot of fighters, but overall he's very flawed, and I don't know why some people keep acting like he's a major dangerman.

Takam is much better than anyway Price has beaten though.

I'm still keen to see if Price will be different under Dave Coldwell.

In all honesty this is just a contest to see who wil get bashed up by a big josh, however i fancy Price to get the job done. Neither are going to win a world title. One is 6ft2 and a non puncher who has been massively protected and the other has a weak chin and the tendency to quit in tough fights.

Parker is 6'4", and being a big puncher is far less important than speed, which Parker has, and skills, which need more work. Also if you think a 24 yo fighting Takam is protected, what do you think of Joshua's opponents so far? A guy who should've lost his last two fights, a clubfighter who beat a terrible challenger via injury, a fat kickboxer who's best win is a shot cruiserweight journeyman.

no way is Parker 6ft 4, just because it is written on boxrec does not make it the truth buddy. He is a very short heavyweight.
In regards to Joshua's opponents they have been a joke and anyone who buys his ppv's are a complete mug. I hate his fans a bit more then i dislike him though hahahah.

Parker is no worse a puncher than Thompson or Teper, and he's wayyyyyyyy faster. Given that we're talking about him facing glass-chinned David Price, someone who has shown marked fragility throughout his amateur and pro careers, it's laughable to raise his power as a shortcoming. Parker's also beaten someone better than anyone Price has fought, so it's odd to single Parker out as the protected one. .
Maybe if there are enough people who share Fritzy's view , we'll get to see the 4th instance (in only about 20 fights) of Price being knocked out as the favorite. I wonder how many badly failed attempts at winning beyond domestic level it will take before people stop believing that Price is more dangerous than he is.
As for the height, I think Parker is around 6'4" and Price has already been flattened by much shorter opposition anyway; is that about 6 inches over Teper?

Is anyone as tall as they claim anyway? I thought that everyone agreed al the heights get inflated. Anyway he was clearly a decent bit taller than Takam who is 6' 1 1/2", not a giant but big enough to compete.

I'm not worried about height but, to be fair, we have no idea what's on their plates in that photo. Teper migt be wearing his favourite 6 inch stilettos

With Eddie Hearn struggling to get Kubrat Pulev or Bermane Stiverne set as Anthony Joshua's next opponent, Dean Lonergan from Duco has raised the left field suggestion Parker's stablemate Izu Ugonoh could fight Anthony Joshua on November 26th.
Ugonoh is rated in the IBF's top 15 so he does meet that part of the criteria.
