There are definitely some things you can judge.
How many fighters go from being technically a mess (the way he throws some shots is just bizarre) to solid technicians, for example? Some people are looking at the lack of expeirence as if it means there must be huge improvmeent to come, but these late starters are often hobbeled by shortcomings in skill throughout their careers.
Conor may well improve and move on to big things, but then again the same can be said about the many fighters starting out in the pros who are looking just as good as he is.
