Yeah but Price deserve it himself?!
No, but at least he'd be fresh meat so to speak, and it'd be more entertaining to me to see Price sparked in 1 round than it would to see Molina sparked in 1. I've already seen Molina sparked in 1 by Arreola. I don't need to see it again.

This is a step backward for Joshua no matter which option he takes, and if his next fight is against an opponent like this I officially hate him.
Molina went to the 9th against Wilder, didn't he?

That's more of a comment on how much Wilder sucks than anything else. Everyone else in the Top 10 takes out Molina inside 5. That's why Wilder has yet to defend his title against a Top 10 opponent. Even these guys Top 15 and below make him look like sh*t.

Did he not get knocked out by Arreola in 1? or am I thinking of somebody else?

Price will be Joshua's best opponent to date?

Will he fvck. He has never beat anyone above domestic level, and his last win at that level was 3/4 years ago now. Since then he has got knocked out a few times and beat area level guys up.

Breazale would beat him, Whyte would stand a great chance of beating him and Martin would probably give him all he can handle. He dispatched Dallas in similar fashion and managed to last 3 rounds against Glazkov, something Price might struggle with these days!!!!

If it happens, it would be a disgraceful opponent for a so called world title fight and would make a mockery of Joshua's team and Joshua himself imo

They're not even area level guys though really huh?! They've been journeymen and bad ones at that.

Price is surely a bad match up for the humble personal too. Easiest way to beat price is to be all out aggressive from the moment it's announced. Swung heavy early and hit a stationary target

That's straight out of tysons bad boy persona

Price can knock anyone out (he has knocked AJ out), he is the first opponent who actually has any chance of beating Joshua no matter how remote people think it is - despite his frailties and which everyone has already pointed out Pricey has world class power nobody else AJ has boxed has world class anything

You don't have World Class Power with no World Class KO win to your credit, but I agree with most of the point you were trying to make. He has a slight puncher's chance.

This. If he had genuine world class power, Thompson would've been sparked and opponents would have been scared to rush him.

He can punch though

Shame he's not displayed any aggression since running into TT.

Aside from exposing his chin Thompson apparently took his heart too.

He just looks so gun-shy and over cautious - even against low level opposition.

You another one after a job at Sky? With talk like that you'll definitely get an interview.

We've seen Price smashed three times. The last one by a Kebab shop owner. Least Molina has some durability about him, which he showed in the Wilder fight where he took a lot but also hurt Deontay himself. Price is terrified of throwing a punch. But yes, both abysmal world title challengers.

PS Price definitely doesn't have world class power. Who on his resume gives anyone the right to claim that???

He beat a bunch of aged or fat bums, he was the classic Maloney heavyweight fed a diet of bums for 10-12 fights to gain some easy KOs and some Sky hype. Is he even much better than Tom Dallas nowadays?

I'm fairly sure Hearn all but ruled out Price in his latest Sky interview, something about him not deserving it yet? Will find the link...

Edit: Here we go (towards the bottom)

It's fair to say he punches harder than Dillian Whyte. He doesn't need world class power to hurt AJ. He will be the bigger puncher AJ has faced. Whether we think he's rubbish or not.

Eddie chats shit though. He's said they've agreed the Wlad fight for Spring so whoever it is will be looked at as a very easy win for AJ. And you can see it for £16.95

He was talking like that, but has recently named him as an option. Plus, as I said in the first post, Sky etc seem to be paving the way. Unless Jamie Moore really did suddenly think "You know, I reckon I'll do an opinion piece for Sky Sports about how Pricey would be an acceptable world title challenger".
