Hope they get stuck in and produce a good fight.
they could if they get in shape, are motivated and have the desire and pride.jamesmcdonnell wrote:Cue fight of the year candidate with multiple knockdowns on both sides.milpool wrote:I've gone for a Chisora points win...
Whoever wins, it'll be a boring, plodding points victory.

I think they have to stop putting Joshua in Gloves are off. It's not entertaining at all. I like Joshua cause he's all about the boxing, and none of the drama. You just don't see him getting animated and mouthing off and dissing his opposition.wesshaw1985 wrote:CheersRob3_142 wrote:Think it's airing Tuesday 9pm on fight week. He doesn't need to mouth off and diss the opposition, he just has to open up, be honest and give the corporate character a break it's robotic and boring. Buzz words like "humble" and "destiny" are over used.Rob3_142 wrote:I think they have to stop putting Joshua in Gloves are off. It's not entertaining at all. Apologies, it's 10pm for Whyte-Chisora.wesshaw1985 wrote:CheersRob3_142 wrote:Think it's airing Tuesday 9pm on fight week. Seems really unlikely, the only time anyone has had an easy fight against CHisora was Fury II. Whyte can't fight like that. Whyte will have to take a lot of shots. In his recent fightshe's had to be quite stationary and throw light punches, he's going to have to fight at a much higher pace against Chisora.handsofstone wrote:I have a feeling there will be more action and drama in the build up to this than the actual fight,Chisora is still game but has definitely lost something at the higher level,Pulev beat him fairly easy and no way was it a split decision, apart from the Joshua fight,Whyte has shown he's a pretty conservative boxer, boxed to a gameplan against Allen and Lewison and despite being a bit boring he was dominant at domestic level so maybe he can step it up to Euro level, either way I can see this being a bit scrappy and devoid of any real action with Whyte not taking any chances and dealing with Chisra with reletative ease
Hopefully one of them gets put on their arse early and it becomes a tear up,neither guy are particularly likeable but I do have a wee soft spot for Chisora
I think Pulev made pretty short work of Chisora. Just fended him off with the jab all night.BitPlayer wrote:Seems really unlikely, the only time anyone has had an easy fight against CHisora was Fury II. Whyte can't fight like that. Chisora landed the best punches, and defitely won some rounds. It was a far better performance than WHyte put in against Joshua.Rob3_142 wrote:I think Pulev made pretty short work of Chisora. Pulev dominated Chisora despite the scorecards,Dereck had a few moments but it was pretty much one way traffic IMO, as for Fury he dominated Chisora in both fights not just the rematchBitPlayer wrote:Chisora landed the best punches, and defitely won some rounds. Whyte wouldn't even be Chisora's best win.mimmy123 wrote:Another thing to think about is that the UFC is making big waves these days and can fill out arenas no matter where they go. I would imagine that there are only 1 world champion at each weight too so no messing with these silver titles, regular, super etc etc. Also having only 1 world champ is easier for the general fan to keep track of.
If boxing is not careful it will lose ground and the promotors will soon swap over as they dont really give a shite anyway.
Trying to sell out boxing matches seems to be becoming harder depending on whos popular these days. So making up daft eye openers such as throwing cardboard tables will become the norm.
One thing for sure though this should be Chisora's last fight cause every one else has beaten him.
Who is then?BitPlayer wrote:Whyte wouldn't even be Chisora's best win.mimmy123 wrote:Another thing to think about is that the UFC is making big waves these days and can fill out arenas no matter where they go. Hello Wes,wesshaw1985 wrote:Whyte saying Chisora didn't fight Joshua because he was scared was daft.
You only have to look at Chisoras resume to see he isn't scared to face anyone (Fury x2 and Haye) and will even travel to face top guys in their backyards (Vitali, Helenius and Pulev).
Also couldn't argue with Chisora saying he wasn't offered enough to face Joshua, Chisoras had some big paydays and didn't want to undercut himself just for the privilege of facing Joshua on PPV.
Dillian taking £350k for that fight shocked me really, the storyline sold itself and Whyte did a magnificent job of playing the bad guy to AJs boring humble act. Especially when AJ picked up multi-millions for the show, thought he could have banked at least £500k and a cut of the PPV buys...
Delboy might play the clown, but beneath that I think hes a tad smarter than he cares to let on.
All that said, Whyte should win on Saturday either by decision or late stoppage. Chisoras only chance to win is put it all on the line and brawl with Whyte for the first 6 rounds to hopefully catch Whyte IMO.
I'm looking forward to this one...
