For me Bill takes it on points

On last night's showing it would be a close one. Canelo would struggle to get openings.

Canelo showed against Khan how he struggles with speed and movers.

And he won't take out BJS with one shot.

The Brit needs to be in shape though, one swallow doesn't make a summer!

It’s a fight that Saunders should never take (unless it happens in england) as there is no chance he will get a fair go on the scorecards and there is virtually no chance that he can stop Alvarez to leaves the judges scorecards useless. But if we are talking about just inside the ring then I think Saunders would take it on points

Well Alvarez isn't the best at cutting the ring off, which is obviously in BJS's favour, also I wonder about his gas tank actually being able to chase BJS down with all the movement he can show. Nonetheless I couldn't back BJs to win I don't think, Alvarez is a far cry from Lemieux.

Well at the end of the day Khan is probably a better mover than BJS so I’m sure Canelo would catch up with Saunders at some point but would obviously need to take him down with a combination of punches. He might have looked like floyd last night but khan thought the same and is arguably quicker than Saunders

I think if Bill is really on form he'll make it very hard for Canelo

I agree. Canelo isn't known for his workrate, and I think he would need to up it to catch BJS.
I don't feel this fight would happen though. Golden Boy won't match Canelo against a fan unfriendly fighter. Canelos fan base is largely Mexican/Mexiamerican and they love a proper battle, remember the backlash Floyd got from dancing around Canelo? I'm sure Oscar wouldn't want a repeat of that.

People would do well to remember Canelo has faced fighters slicker, quicker and with better timing than BJS. It’s like saying Parker will do well against Tyson because he beat Hughie.

Lemieux really isn’t Canelo or GGG, certainly not Jacobs either. Way below all 3, amongst others

If Canelo catches him, its all over, but if he jabs and runs BJS could beat him on points. Mayweather did it but I dont think BJS is anywhere near as good as Mayweather.

Yeah your right pal the triangle theory doesn't work in boxing, just coz one fighter beat someone it don't mean he'll beat the next man, and canelo is a much harder task than Lemeiux, much better all round,

Just have to wait and see what happens in future

He'd give Alvarez and Golovkin a good fight, think people are overrating this slightly though, GGG demolished Lemieux when they fought and he's also been stopped by Rubio.

I'm not so sure, Canelo hits hard, but not freakish hard, and Saunders has a decent chin and is great at tieing up when he needs to.

Not sure he'd beat GGG or Canelo, but Saunders has a real chance to pull the upset, and in shape will give them both problems.

He has a better chance against Canelo, GGG is relentless, and Saunders might have better stamina, but I think GGG would likely wear him down. He'd maybe need to build an insurmountable lead, then cling on, much easier said than done against GGG.

Think Saunders can win but there is no way they would give him the decision unless it was maybe co promoted in the uk- and I can’t see that happening

I’d have given him no chance before the weekend, but after watching how well BJS performed I think he has a chance. Canelo can be lazy, Saunders could easily make him miss similarly and win some rounds, I don’t think Canelo can stop him either so over twelve rounds I think it’s a much closer fight than I used to think.

I’d actually much prefer to see this than Saunders-Golovkin.
