Cheers, what an arrogant fool that guy is. He should publicly apologize to every fan who has EVER parted with their hard earned money to watch a fight either at the venue or on TV. And he lies like a dog when he is challenged on his idiotic posts. Tries to deny he wrote such crap, and claims the poo should be taken in a " wider context ".
You didn’t actually challenge any of my posts.

More lies.

I certainly challenged the more idiotic part of such drivel. The rest wasn't worth challenging, it was merely a case of you trying to show how knowledgeable you think you are.

Like I said, you should take your clap trap theories to the London School of Economics. I'm sure they could do with a laugh.

According to you, they have got it all wrong. The market isn't dictated to by the paying customers, it is dictated by some self important fool who THINKS he knows what people want.

I can keep this up all night, because comedy gold like you espouse doesn't come along too often.
All you've done is told a lie by pretending that I claimed something that I actually didn't.

I think we have long since established that the only liar on this thread is in fact YOU.

I believe it is also fair to say that you are both arrogant and an idiot, but do we really need to add blind to the list?

It is BEYOND doubt that you wrote the following.

" and fight fans have no right to dictate how much they should be paid " so it stands to reason if you wrote it you ought to be able to read it.

That line is beyond retarded, mainly because it attempts to defy the laws of business in general and boxing in particular. You know less than nothing about the game otherwise you would know that the only money in it comes from those very same fans. Promoters and TV companies don't just magic money from thin air. The fans are EXACTLY the ones who decide what a fighter is worth and how much he should get paid and in fact DOES get paid.

So get it into your thick skull, a fighter and his team can ask for whatever they like, but if the fans won't pay he will NOT get it.
Misrepresentation is synonymous with lying... and that's all you've achieved in this thread.

According to this article:

http://bleacherreport.com/articles/2673 ... redictions

"No, he is not earning $20 million. He is earning a lot less because…he is fighting largely on percentage," Arum said. "So hopefully the Filipinos, the Mexican fight fans support the fight so he can make $20 million or more."

How much did he make for the Vargas fight? Does anyone know?

I guess it is not published that I can see. They said Vargas got 2.8 mil and Pac got a percentage from it all, so no idea. Mannix from Yahoo Sports claimed Manny had a $4 million minimum guarantee. With an 8 yr low 300K buys, its anyone's guess. HBO and Showtime probably didn't give them a date because they knew it was not going to be a good fight.

It's impossible for me to lose an argument to someone that is arguing against a stance I've never held.

Freddie Roach confirms that Manny Pacquiao's contract with Top Rank states that he receives a $20m guarantee per fight. They only agreed to take a one-off pay-cut for the Vargas fight, because they were facing a lesser opponent without HBO’s backing.

However, the Filipino’s contractual minimum is $20m per fight, which is a sum he’s commanded for ten of his previous eleven bouts.

So if Top Rank wants Pacquiao to face his stablemate, Crawford, he’s going to have to be paid according to his contract.

Freddie Roach confirms? Give me a break. He is the same one that claimed Crawford demanded $7 million to fight Pacquiao, which was a lie. Give it up.

Freddie Roach should of been a politician.
He lies as bad as they do
