If Joshua beats Wlad he'll be looking at Pulev then I suspect it'll be Wilder/WBC champ for the unification.
Super Joshua only fights the best!

Joshua's previous track record should be totally dismissed because he's scheduled to fight Wlad.

Shoot me.
I'd like to see Fury fight: Joshua, Wlad II, Povetkin, Pulev, Ortiz & Haye next year.

I'd like to see Frampton fight: Santa Cruz II, Selby, Mares, Donaire, Rigondeaux & Russell Jr next year.

It's a fantasy.

It's not going to happen, so there's no point in talking about it.
A few European level heavyweights isn't exactly the same as naming the top 6 or 7 fighters in a division, you argumentative tit.

I think he should take the Hammer fight and if it doesn't work out then just hang em up.
If he can beat a bunch of guys like Allen and Cornish for the British title then he would still have a good chance of getting a major fight.

Audley Harrison got a world title shot by sticking around and not giving up even after he'd been exposed a few times. I don't see why Price can't do the same.

A fighter doesn't have to be that great or do that much to get a title shot.
He's been mentioned for Parker a couple of times. If he beats Hammer maybe that will happen.

Nope. Isn't Pupev going to be the IBF mandatory? If so, then if Joshua comes through Wlad and Pulev, I'd be amazed if he allowed Eddie to serve him up more soft touches. Surely that will prove to everyone he doesn't need anymore babysitting?

Where's the hate? Price is getting overrated on this thread if anything.

People are talking about Price beating the fighter, who recently beat the guy who splattered him in a round, like it's almost a forgone conclusion.
Typical Horse, trying to undermine Price's achievements. He actually got splattered in 2 rounds, not 1 :shame:

It's all about taking the right to the second half if youre hammer. Make sure you have right hands covered from the get go. Use a lot of feints and movement. Start going for it from the 7th onwards. Game plan has to be that you have to come for a late stoppage. Give up the early rounds but try to make price work a bit. He might be able to land something in the second half of the fight.

I'm not even sure you can make a case for Price being as good as Harrison was. Audley done way more.

He has better wins than all of previous non shot to pieces opponents.

His last two opponents were a guy knocked out by Aerolla in a round, and a guy that should have beeen coming off of two losses.

Pricey didn't always paw with his jab providing hes confident he cant lose
It's not hatred at all. Price is one of the most well liked boxers on here and had/has an army of fans but they just started to be a bit more realistic when it came to what we can expect from Pricey. He's a lovely guy who can bang, but he's shown he doesn't belong much above domestic level if we are being honest.

What's his best win? Sam Sexton? It's a shame because nearly everyone wanted him to go all the way but looking back it was never going to happen.

Kind of strange that some people are bringing up Hammer's power as if he doesn't have enought to win this by KTFO; it' Price we're talking about

If Hammer lands cleanly I doubt he'll struggle to hurt Price, though due to his limitations he is probably among the best fighters Price has a decent shot of beating.

You would be a terrible promoter.

Price will not be able to beat that lot without getting knocked out.

If he manages to get past Hammer then he should cash out against Joshua immediately.

Price is the comfortable betting favourite based on the early odds I've seen.

Does he deserve to be? If Hammer wins, and assuming no major shift in betting, it will be the 4th time in Price's last 10 fights that he's lost as favourite. For a guy who has been KO'd every time he's stepped above domestic level, Price still seems to be rated somewhat generously.

With a win he would euro level. Is this for the ebu title. Will get a title shot probably so if he wins. Opponents will see him as big easy scalp. People
say Hammer top 20 I don't see it. He is fringe though because of the win. I'll definetly throw a few bucks on whoever is the dog. Seems like a 50/50 fight. Is Hammer really better than a Takam or Duhapas or Ruiz I don't think so and those around the same level.

:shame: why would it be. Hammer is a top euro level guy but no where near the top 7 of the division.

Malik Scott is in the top ten based on a win over a decrepit Tony Thompson.

I think this tells you everything you need to know about why some people need to stop obsessing about rankings in this division.

You'd be happy watching Joshua smash up sub-top 100 ranked fighters for the rest of his career.

He's the best and doesn't have to prove it.

My point was, fighters who aren't very good manage to make it into the top 10 just because they suck slightly less than those someone ranked below them.

It doesn't always require the top guys beating these clowns in order to make a judgment. I have eyes.

Not sure how many more times we can have the same argument, but it sure is fun.

You're the monkey, Horse. Hammer may or may not be top 10. It really doesn't matter. He sucks.
