I don't think the Khans have ever wanted this fight. 70/30 is a joke, Kell shouldn't accept that.

Yep, it's seemed for a long time he'd rather tick along in 1-2,000 capacity venues in America fighting nearly men like Algieri for £1.5m rather than take the risk of getting pummelled by Brook for £5-6m.

Surely Khan now has less options, they simply can't rebuild him again, people aren't gona stomach more Algieri type fights - he's also become really inactive, one fight since May 2015 when most the big names (of his age) get out every 6 months. Khan has had 5 fights in the last 4 years.

This fight doesn't really appeal to me at any weight above welter. It's a good fight at 147. Can Brook do 147? If so how much longer can he do it for?

If Brook can make 147 it's really now or never for a Khan fight.

Think he has one more fight at 147, but I personally think they should both fight at 154.

40/40 split and the winner gets the remaining 20. Khan wont accept that because he's not going to win. He'll take 60/40 though, but I think 50/50 is fair enough.

I do think 50/50 would be fair enough on reflection. Just if I were Brook I'd take 60-40 and smash his lights out and get bigger money in the next fight with the further increased profile from the GGG fight and smashing up everyone's favourite US-Boltonian.

30/30 split and then provide two PPV phone numbers. One for Khan and one for Brook. The remaining 40% goes to whoever's number gets the most calls. Leave it in the hands of the paying public.

If Khan is the genuine superstar and public figure that he thinks he is then he should be confident enough to do that.

Not entirely sure that I am utterly bereft whether Khan-Brook seems 'off', 'stalled', 'close', 'finalizing details' or is a 'non-starter'....

....just getting to the point with this particular maybe-possibly- not at all match-up where I am in serious danger of not caring.

It is such a prolonged/constipated saga of claim and counter claim, posturing and rumours that both camps should either do the fight or keep quiet.

Sorry to be a tad negative everyone but it is a fight that's now beginning to irk.

Everyone knows the Khan train is coming to a halt. I believe as the eldest he has to support the family. Amir is looking for a massive payday before going on to his reality show. He is clearly willing to get ironed out as any decent opponent has a good chance, but he wants to get paid retirement money. Brook (who would will put Amir to sleep longer than 1000mg of zoplicone washe down with a litre of jack Daniels) may not be able to provide that payday.

Got a bad feeling that neither will do anything major or memorable again.

Losing interest in both, especially after their greed displayed in taking foolhardy trips to middleweight.

I'll be happy with Brook vs Spence. If he can fight the poor mandos -Yonut & Bizier - he can fight the good ones.

I hope Khan fucks him off, it's not a good fight at this point anyway. I'd much rather see Brook actually fight someone in a decent fight, but he can't get the motivation for Spencer. Funny, he's never had the motivation for the top fighters at 147 throughout his entire career.

He goes up a division and wins applause and aclaim for getting beat by GGG .. ive said it before, I will say it again.... if Brook vacates he has defo had the worst ever run of title defences that I can recall for a HIGH PROFILE fighter

TAKE 30%... you will win very EASY imo... or if you don't like a %... take a monetary amount

his step dad seems a right plank... id have Brook as 80/20 fav to win.. if not 90/10

I imagine that at 70/30 it's a career high purse for Kell Brook but yes 60/40 is probably doable.
Khan is definitely the name that will bring the general public PPV buys so he is right that he is the A side, regardless or who one might expect to win.
I seem to be in the minority in that I think Khan would win.
30 or 40 percent of a big number is likely better pay than 100% of the next available purse split.

Does'nt matter when he won his title or lost it ,, Facts are he is a name in the states . Ok he gets beat regular but while they last, his fights are exciting , we all know he can outbox anyone , but when he gets hit he's gone , so that makes him intriging to watch . There is no other fight that could generate the same money a Khan fight would bring , and if were being honest he will probably KO Khan , ending Khans carreer in reality . He will in fact even at 60-40 earn probably more than any other fight out there ,, If he does'nt take it he's options are Spence or vacate and go up , going up he's not going to set the world on fire .

Its the easiest and best payday for Brook , even at say 70-30 ,, he gets 3 million and probably a KO WIN ,, Against Spence less money and a probable Loss , because his world title win was'nt excatly having everyone quaking , it was a close fight , and against GGG he only lasted up till GGG got warmed up , he has'nt excatly shook the boxing world up has he .

Fact is, he's known in the States, but is not a star. Khan vs Brook would not be PPV in the States, but would be in the UK. Khan's exposure in the UK is poor, although people know who he is. Brook had some excellent exposure off the back of the GGG fight, which will put him in good stead. I think the capture of fans from either fighter will be pretty much 50-50. Khan lost a lot of loyal fans with his move to the States and his inactivity.

It's simple of Brook wants 50/50 split go fight Spence Jnr.. Not only will even Fast Car struggle to make that fight but if/when Brook loses his profile will drop.. Does anyone think for a minute that Pacquiao will go 50/50 with Brook. Best he will get there is 60/40 and the fight in the uk which is nowhere near as big as the Khan fight... After that Brook has nowhere to go?? Hearn said it yesterday up to 154 to fight an eliminator, How much will he get for that £300,000?? Then one of the light middleweight champs apart from Canelo which he won't get where is the money fight.... 30% of £30 million is a lot more than 50% of £1-2 million.. Khan has 6 or 7 fights that can make very good money. I used to think Khan would win this fight but I more lean towards Brook now. His team need to look towards the bigger picture. He beats Khan his profile will pretty much double.. People use the point he put up a good fight against GGG... Murray put up a better fight than him and his me is not a big name.. Khan looked better against Canelo than Brook did v GGG
