This is a one shot fight for Haye. No offence to Bellew but I don't think he can prepare for Haye's power, and he is a very powerful puncher, but he's fast and accurate too. I just don't see any chance Bellew has.

Bellew sounds like a bitch!

I prefer Tony to David most of the time but he talked himself into this fight now he's fretting over a few sadistic words.

If he wanted a better and easier fight, all be it not as a financially pleasing, he'd have fought Breidis.

So everyone sees pretty much a replay of Haye-Macca coming up in March?

Haye last time had a small handicap in the apparent dehydrating, making him potentially weight weakened, especially if the fight went late - which of course it didn't given his punching power. It was a brutal performance, Haye was slinging in power shots while Macca was still using the feint...

This time Haye has some inactivity and lack of competitive action, which most people are certain he will be able to overcome...

Ruthless-RKO wrote:In an interview with the Metro, the WBC cruiserweight champ revealed he asked Haye to apologise - which he hasn’t - and that Haye’s behaviour during their shooting of The Gloves Are Off was “really distasteful”.

HAYE'S "DISTASTEFUL" COMMENTS

“What I expected really, he talks a lot of nonsense,” Bellew said when asked how Haye acted on set with Sky Sports.

“He says things that are really out of place, things like he’s going to leave me on a stretcher and that I’m going to hospital after the fight.

“Things that are really distasteful, I found it quite disgusting.

“Like I said to him, ‘the most important thing is to go home safe to my kids’.

“The words out of his mouth were: ‘You’re going to hospital, you’re not going home’.
“At that point I said, ‘Okay, the only way I’m going to hospital is if you kick that chair up and do it now’.

“Sky Sports stopped filming at that point.”

Pretty disturbing from Haye, if true.

THEY HAD TO BE SEPARATED

Although no punches were thrown during filming, the pair did have to be separated.

“I wouldn’t say we clashed, there was no fighting or punches thrown,” Bellew added

“What did happen though, is that we were made to separate for ten minutes in the middle of filming.

“He’s just a dog of a man, to say something like (sending me to the hospital) is just disgusting.

“No boxer should ever come out and say that. There’s boxers lying in comas right now.”

Shut up Bellew, you knob. Haye has said distasteful things in his career, this isn't one of them. Fighters always talk about hospitalising people pre-fight. Most of us are bored of hearing stuff like this. Not hurt.

Tony Bellend.

Bellew is enjoying this too much. Loves having a natter doesn't he?

And also, he doesn't mind dragging a promotion through the gutter, with the pimp and midget comments to Adonis Stevenson. Who absolutely knocked the sh it out of him.

Bellew is being a total idiot to start this bs. He is among the biggest trash talking twats in the sport with some noted "disgraceful" comments.

His problem is now the fight is signed, the realisation has dawned that he will not only lose, but lose in brutal fashion. I dislike Bellew tbh and do not understand the hatred Haye gets. He has done a couple dickish things, as we all have and toegate was a mistake, but I remember his career running parallel to Harrison and how he was actually testing himself and having the fights we wanted and for that, I remain a fan.

I'm careful with money, but even I am contemplating paying for this one - obviously I wont buy it until the day of the fight!

Ha ha - looks like Boomer has changed tactics and is now going for the sympathy vote and playing the victim card - as said before, typical tactics when a bully feels bullied.
He's shitting himself and is shocked by how confident Haye is when they came face to face. I think that's the turning point that made Bellend realise he had no chance
Can't see why Bellew should be shocked. Haye was always gonna win this one handily. Lets be honest, Haye is a huge puncher and Bellew does not exactly have the greatest defence. Also, Haye only ever takes fights he can win easily nowadays. Most amount of money for the least amount of risk. I'm always in favour of fighters earning a good lump of dough and good luck them but we all know this is an event and not a genuine 50/50 fight.

Its an exhibition and haye will be able to end this at any time, bellew hasnt been in a massive fight which earns him a good lump of cash, enough to secure his future and this is it but haye is a devastating puncher and tony could get really hurt here,he will nevsr av been hit as hard as he is going to get hit on march 4th

Every time i see these two or read anything about them, I just feel like it's so fake. I'm sure their 'hatred' for one another is honest, but there's something behind it all. It sometimes feels like Eddie is giving them advice on how to sell this fight.

It all seems a bit WWE to me

Typical Tony, he was acting the tough guy at the weigh in putting the nut on stevenson them come the actual fight he never threw a punch, looked like a dear in headlights and ran for 6 rounds before being ko'd. The whole build up and fight was embarrasing.

I doubt their hatred is real. I suspect the rest of what you said is 100% on the money.

I actually do think Haye can't stand Bellew. Bellew has really riled him and I can see Haye taking absolutely no prisoners in this one and wiping him out very early.

But he is calling him 'Sponge/Sideshow Bob' is that better or worse than 'Bermondsey Bitch' ?
Well it's a bit weak - going from mugging him off as a man, calling him a pussy and a bitch, and now being reduced to some juvenile quip about his hair.....

I think Bellend knows he's getting a hiding and would rather get a hiding off someone with a funny haircut than a pussy / bitch

I'd say after being clipped he is trying to settle into his role in the baddie vs goodie promotion.

Unfortunately though I think Eddie has got the roles the wrong way around
