One of the few successes of the PBC era.
Frampton-Selby excites me more than Frampton-Santa Cruz 3. But I'm a byist Welshman.
Biased?
Nah, I think that would be a great match.
Selby has the power, footwork and accuracy that Frampton lacks.
I'm not sure Selby is clearly ahead of Frampton on any of those levels. I don't think Selby could get Santa Cruz's respect for his punching power like Frampton did, and I don't think he could rock him to his boots like that left hook Frampton hurt him with. I personally don't think Selby is conspicuously more accurate either, and I'd be interested to see how their footwork matched up head to head, Selbys style means he probably moves more but I don't see a pronounced advantage, myself.

I can see your logic, and I agree. I feel Selby Frampton as a very close match, and LSC Selby the same. I just think Frampton LSC 3 would be less exciting/interesting as Frampton Selby in a been there seen that sort of way. Selby Frampton is uncharted and exciting to me, wheras Frampton LSC 3 isn't so much

Agreed: I think the main challenge Selby can present Frampton with is due to his style and being bigger and having significantly longer arms, rather than being intrinsically better or more talented.

Selbys a talented boxer but he doesn’t have the power advantage

I’d actually like to see Selby in with LSC as I think he could do him

I would even go so far as to predict Lee for a KO win.
Then again, Kiwis love the Welsh, so I could be biased as well?
Only because you always beat us at rugby. :TU:
