He's giving a good enough effort to make Gavin look pretty lackluster though, and it's definitely concerning (for Gavin's people at least) how easily Garrido is able to get inside on him.

Garrido was giving just about as good as he was getting in the first 2 rounds though, and he's still hanging in there.

The fact this is so competitive is a sad indictment of where Gavin is.

If you were a promoter, would you bin off Gavin after this fight. For me, it's 1 weight issue too far.

Here in the U.S. the channel AWE lost it's signal before the official cards were read on the Gavin vs Garrido card, were all 3 cards 77-75?

Did I miss the post fight interview with Gavin or did he just leave the ring?

I could see a case for Garrido winning the first 2 rounds. I don't really see any way you could've seen a 3rd round for him, but ah well.

I think the refs score was generous to Garrido, but he definitely made his mark there and landed his share of shots in the fight.

It was noticeab,e how much bigger Karl Yafai looked than his opponent when he won his WT. Not sure Gamal has that same physical presence at the weight.
