Would he interesting to see Linares take on every world class British fighter at lightweight, finishing with Flanagan.
Can FW make it happen?
Obviously now is the time if Garcia isn’t facing Linares.

I think styles make fight and I honestly think Linares would have less problems than Flanagan as he did with Campbell.

I don’t really know as many FW fighters don’t show their best until they get the big fight. Their reputations sink then suddenly they put in an elite level win. Like Calzaghe v Lacy. For all I know Flanagan could be something special when given the opportunity- or not.

Ive rated Flanagan highly for a good few years now. Going back to when people were avoiding him for the British title and when he won prizefighter. Also in the same time I beleived he would beat Crolla very easily and it would be nowhere near competitive .
Do I think he can beat Linares ?? I honestly can't say but if Luke Campbell can win 5 rounds against him then I think Terry can win at least that many which gets him close.
My main concern is Terry's career now. He's like Kell brook was for so long. Unbeaten and after each fight we didn't care about ( Bizier Dan Gavin) that much the promoter is coming out with "oh but it will be a big fight next.
Like Kell in this time he was wasting his peak. Terry is doing the same now.

Under the circumstances Luke was under going into the fight, and the knockdown being the only thing between the two, it's fair to say Luke would have a great chance in a rematch. No idea what Garcia has to do with it.

Sorry Mickey, I have to disagree with you.
I don't think a rematch with Luke would go well. I base that on Crolla 1 and Crolla 2.
Linares is a smart experienced fighter. He got the measure of Crolla late in the first fight and carried that through to the second match, which was almost all Linares. Unless Luke brings something really different to a rematch, I feel strongly that Linares would win an even wider margin the second time around. Luke also does not have the power to be a game changer and would have to rely on his boxing, and while good, it is not on the level of Linares. He does not have the shots to keep Jorge off.
I was proud of how Luke fought, but he would need at least 2 fights at a high level before trying again. I'd like to see him have a go at Crolla. Linares has Beltran nipping at his heels, so I think he may well be busy for a while taking care of mandatories anyway.

If he can't beat Maurice Hooker, then he's a waste.

Strange decision given his tweet a few days ago. Much bigger fights at 135 than 140 as well. Has he complained about weight problems before?

So looks like Flanagan has turned down Garcia and Linares to move up a weight to face Hooker.
Strange move. Not being a huge ticket seller he should of taken on the big name.
Shows how easy it is to be a two-weight world champion in modern boxing.
