Hardly. He took a left hook flush on the chin and was wobbled for a few seconds and then recovered very quickly and proceded to beat the hell out of Whyte for the rest of the round. It's probably the best punch Whyte has thrown and landed in his career aswell.

I'm not great Joshua fan, I just don't think his chin is as bad as people are making it out to be. It's not like Khan who does the chicken dance relatively frequently.

Breazeale also landed a few decent shots aswell I remember when Joshua got a little greedy and he took them pretty well.

So I'm summary; Joshua might not have the greatest chin in the world but it's fairly sturdy imo, based purely off what I've seen in the ring up to now.

Yeah I'm sure your right. Bunce contradicted himself anyway as he said AJ liked to help the up and coming fighters and wouldn't take liberties with them when sparring, so AJ probably went easy on the kid which might explain why Dubois looked good against him.

Dubois in against Blaise Mendouo this Saturday. Cameroonian former Olympian. Is (or was, dunno his current status) trained by Pat Barrett.

Seen Blaise before V Sam Hyde. Hyde got a pretty generous decision in my opinion at Cruiser. He comes to fight. So should be a good test.

Now he's going from League One, to the Premier League with Wlad. It's works in reveres if you look at how many they blow away in the first 20, and as they step up it gets harder, and you ultimately go to a decision. A flush left hook from Wlad will answer a lot of questions. I hope AJ stands up to it, but I really don't think he will be able to. He's got to stick to the plan if he's got one. Plan A so far is to just knock them the feck out. Does AJ have a plan B?

The problem is- I dont believe Joshua's chin will even get tested in this fight. I see Wlad being extremely gun shy and then getting taken out very quickly.

I'd be inclined to agree with you, neither is particularly stellar and I don't think there's anything he'll learn from knocking over journeymen opponents. Sexton will beat Cornish pretty handily I reckon...

Sexton of a few years back would've beaten Cornish pretty easily but inactivity might cost him here. Cornish has looked awful anytime I've seen him but Nelson has maybe made enough changes for him to have a chance. I'd prefer a Sexton win tbh but I think Cornish has a chance.

what time will Daniel Dubois fight at?

Dubois sounds quite confident to move up quickly, and is of the belief that he's ready to take on guys at the top already. However the first round was a little sloppy last night, and although he has excellent attributes (jab, composure and power), I think he needs to just be reigned in a bit. He could definitely be thrown into the British mix before the end of the year, but to go up through the levels logically, and being patient.

daniel is very eager for victory and makes mistakes in the defense is very young

I'd say he was a prospect. As an amateur he was Irish senior champ and fought internationally (including against AJ), and he also had some World Series of Boxing experience.

Clearly didn't look to be made for the top level though. Incidentally, Sokolowski is turning into quite the upsetter...
