He speaks Russian instead of English. That will add a few doubters.

Lomachenko is a very good fighter. Maybe better than Manny, especially technically speaking, but he's not better than Floyd.

I don't think people are running him down. But it's premature to say he's better than these HoFers right now. He's only had 9 pro fights

Loma is very good and p4p top 5 by most experts id imagine. But come on

Pacquaio has had an exceptional career and is highly skilled. It's an insult at this stage to suggest otherwise

And make light work be MAB and Morales... 2 HoFers but generally at a lower weight, but infinitely better than salido, with respect.

Calm down people he's very good loma, but still much more to do
Nobody is saying he is more accomplished than Floyd or Manny (even though he is in the amateurs). Many believe just by watching his movement and technical prowess in the ring that he holds superior technical attributes over the two. And that is what I am saying. Sure, many will wait until he faces more and better opposition. I've seen enough already to make an educated assumption on his greatness. You all will be on board in a couple years. Dude has only had 8 fights and is already a two weight division world champion. Just because some of us can see how great he is now and you can't shouldn't give you the right to criticize our perspective of the man.

I'm not criticising you can think what you like, as can I.

For me, opposition will always be the acid test of putting your skill set to the maximum challenge. Pacquaio and to a slightly lesser degree mayweather have a wealth of opposition to test them.

I accept there's certain things he will do better than both. But he's not better than them.

In 2 years I may be on board with you if he's beaten some hell of opponents to make him HoF.

Until then, keep rating people as greatness. Who needs a quality cv hey!?

You will. He has almost 400 amateur fights and beaten every AM fighter he ever faced. And won two gold medals in the process. That, in and of itself speaks volumes. Unless something horrendous happens to the guy, he is on his way to glory in the pro rankings as well.

I understand that great opposition is the acid test. I have little doubt that he will pass these tests. It's only a matter of time.

CVs are definitely an indication of greatness. No way do I have Lomachenko on the top of a p4p list as this point. However, that doesn't negate the fact that he is the best boxer I have ever seen fight live.

Lomo was one of the best of all time in the amateurs, no question. Pros is different though in a lot of ways. When he gets to that top level competition, we will see how he does. GGG was a highly decorated amateur too, and looked unbeatable too, with top notch skills. Jacobs showed us he is beatable. People probably don't roll their eyes at me as much now when I say Canelo will beat GGG by decision.

I'm not sure Mikey Garcia would beat Lomo due to his inactivity, but would be a good test. Sosa was good, but relatively inexperienced and tailor made for Lomo style wise. I think it would take someone like Crawford with a reach advantage and skill set. 140 may seem a long way off, but if he dares to be great, like Pacquiao and Mayweather, who fought basically at their walking around weight or at least fight night weight, then we will be incredibly impressed.

Manny is just freakishly physically gifted. If Loma or even Mayweather had Mannys physical attributes they'd both probably be unstoppable.

Unfortunately for you and me we aren't the deciders. The deciders have Lomassiah 8-1 and FMJ 49-0. They also have SOGgy unbeaten and Krusher not.

Lomassiah is a tremendous talent but he lost to Salido. What happens when / if he meets a Duran? We will find more out about how good he is then.

And don't even try comparing TRex Jr. to Roberto Duran.

Lomachenko is no Mayweather , he would lose against prime Mayweather at super featherweight.
I could see him beating Pacquiao in a close fight , but not Mayweather.

They should be. But not the Loma fans. We all know he is the second coming of.... nevermind, he's the first of his kind. Jump on board while there's still room Homie.

Lomachenko has surpassed Floyd by leaps and bounds when Floyd was at the same stage of his pro career. So far, Loma has a heck of a head start on Floyd.
