Fights off. Sexton pulled out injured. Cornish will be out on June 3rd on a show in Edinburgh. No doubt against another tomato can. I'm sure that's the second time Sexton has pulled out against Cornish.

Was a fuckin awful British title fight anyway. Hopefully the board reconsider their options now and try and make a better contest for the vacant title.

With the standard at that level Dubois could realistically have the British title next year.

Gary Cornish is continually scheduled for fights he would lose and in the end he simply won't fight, that's the way it is ever since Joshua, he has been scheduled many times.

He was scheduled against Dillon Carman as well, I have no idea, but I think Cornish would receive more attention.

Dave Allen Vs Ian Lewison is the obvious 'big' fight for the british title if Allen can win the commonwealth later this month.
I doubt Dan Dubois is too far off eyeing up guys like Cornish & Sexton... Would Frank throw him in the deep end this early?

Jeez just get someone to fight for the title against Cornish david price Ian lewison whoever. then order the winner to fight Dave Allen who deserves to fight for the British .. Dave Allen is a credit no excuses no Ducking anyone and learning on the job.

Boxing is becoming a joke .. last night watched Brett McDermott a light heavyweight in mma who had.retired.come out of.retirement on bamma with a few days notice fought at heavyweight had a decent tear up and won ! Bottom line a fight is a fight ! I mean also with a few days to go parkers sparring partner stepped up to the plate aswell .

Lewison is terrible. I'd rather just see Nathan Gorman get a shot.

Lewison should step he is due to fight soon and would be able to take Sextons place. Sexton must surely be finished now and most of the decent youngsters would bowl him over if they met.

Very sorry for the promoter Paul Graham who tried his hardest to get this fight for Cornish, but without being clever I always suspected Sexton would pull out because there wasn't enough money in it for him. I did think there would have been a ready made stand by but obviously it wasn't to be. I hope Paul hasn't lost any money, he deserves all our support.

Hopefully Paul Graham doesn't lose on this but it is a huge risk booking Sam Sexton for any fight. He is ridiculously unreliable and doesn't look like a replacement has been arranged. Can't see how it's not enough money for the fairly recently bankrupted Sexton and this should be the end for Sexton now. Don't rate Cornish but he's been unlucky with Carman and now Sexton.

How do people feel about Cornish given his two dominant wins over Sokolowski, now that Sokolowski has turned into a giant killer? Has he gone up in your estimations?

Both hopeless but Sexton is a bit less hopeless than the lumberjack. So a first round 20 second ko for Sexton would be about right.

With Cornish, Sexton, Allen, Gorman, Lewison etc all knocking about at domestic level they need to keep this belt active. Also got Dubois on his way up.

Would like to see Price jump in the mix seeing as his last 2 European level fights (Teper and Hammer) have ended badly. He might see himself as above this level but since he last defended the British his wins have been Ruzsinszky, Pala, Zavarotnyi, Costa Jr, Pejsar and Perkovic. There's no point in continuing to fight those guys, literally nobody cares about them. At least fighting domestic contenders would be interesting. Surely he'd fancy his chances against Lenroy Thomas for the Commonwealth.
