Read most the thread, the haters will hate the documentary, but that doesn't really matter as they're hardly balanced people to take an opinion from.

I watched it and was interested enough, as I am most things boxing and like to support Joshua.

I still believe all the fake shite is nonsense. Joshua is no bad ass, Whyte was a genuine c*nt prior to boxing, Joshua's had the odd scrape but obviously has grown up and matured in boxing. He weren't on the Whyte level re criminality though. If anyone thinks it's fake, he's either doing an incredible job of acting like someone else 24/7, or more likely it's haters talking shite

To whoever asked, it was joe Joyce in sparring but missed the running bit

The hype will largely be justified.

Cheers. Yeah I'll have to rewatch the running - it looked way too fast to be Joyce, but at a glance it looked a bit like him.

Very enjoyable watch.

Particularly enjoyed the footage after the Whyte fight.

Quite remarkable how he's taken it all in his stride so easily.

I can't stand fakeness.... hype and obvious PR. I am sick of having to read and watch manufactured media. That's not to say klitschko doesn't do the same in Germany. And yes I find Hearn nauseating. I actually found Joshua fairly likeable in that show.

But there are two reasons I want Wlad to win. First and least important is to see Hearn' s facial expression... But more importantly for betting reasons. And that's the bottom line!

Just watched this and AJ comes across really well. His crew seem pretty decent as well.

I know Hearn gets plenty of stick on here, but I respect how well he does his job and he seems like he's a funny guy.

As much as I hate the term Haters I agree with what you say.

Some people just don't like Joshua for whatever reason. Some 'hardcore' fans don't like him because he's popular with those dreaded f*cking 'Casuals'.

I was the same when ASWAD turned poppy & became mainstream. F*cked me right off, it did.

If you can't stand hype why on Earth are you a boxing fan?!? Surely you can understand why this is being hyped though? Biggest fight in this country for years, biggest sports event of the week/month, national stadium full for boxing. It's not often when a boxing story becomes as big as this. As a boxing fan, I think that's a great thing. Without getting too whimsy, you do need kids to see boxing and want to get into the sport in order for it to continue, and this is exactly the sort of thing to do that. Without being too harsh, nobody is heading down to the gym after school on Monday because they want to be like Terry Flanagan.

Regarding Hearn, it's a matter of opinion whether you think the guy is a tosser or not, but I think it's incredibly hard to say he's been bad for the sport. He promotes fighters well, puts on big shows that people want to watch, and has been the promoter above all else who has driven boxing further into the mainstream over the past few years following a pretty obvious lull.

Betting reasons? Absolutely no argument to that one.

If I was Heavyweight Champ of the World there are 2 or 3 of the chaps/my boys who I'd have around me all the time too.

I thought it was a decent watch actually, better than I thought it would be, the only thing I found strange was the fact that he's always got his crew with him, regardless of he's in camp or not

But I think that's because ive been in family mode for nigh on 15 years now and I like my peace and quiet at night, don't get me wrong I love my mates and keep in touch, I wouldn't mind a holiday with them now and again but fvck spending all the time with them, they'd do my box right in and if I was the AJ of the situation i'd probably throw them all out of camp by the end of the 1st week, I love staying with the mrs and kids but I don't think i'd last long living with a mate, more than mate would be even worse, i'd much rather stay on my own

Ive more or less had the same core of mates since primary school. Two weeks holiday is too long sometimes even for good mates. You end up wanting to kill em I put up with my Mrs bollux but she lets me do things to her (sometimes ) but they reprobates just end up getting on your tits after a week

I guess that Joshua doesn't have a missus, and has a removed relationship with his son, especially during camp. I think if you and your mates have that kind of chemistry, it wouldn't be taxing with them all the time. I guess Joshua spends a lot of time training, and doing all the PR/media stuff, so needs familiar faces around him to keep things real. I like the breakfast the morning before the fight where he's basically just hanging with his mates, helps him relax, and keeps him in a good place. I'd do the exact same thing.
