Yep, I think it will be. The fight this weekend is something of a special event. AJ isn't going to get 90,000 fans watching him every title defense.

Perhaps the brook fight will feature a decent undercard.
Any one with info on this ?.

Isn't Groves Chudinov on it?

The brook fight MUST have a quality and / or depth to the undercard. Especially if £19.95 is the new Sky ppv standard price. Also, when did they stop doing an early ordering discount ?.

Earlier on CHAD kindly linked us into the proposal from SKY whereby they are planning on separating certain sports into individual channels. Its taken me a couple of days to think this through because there's is NO WAY SKY will do anything which will not make them more money. And now the penny's dropped.
I , and I suppose many 100,000s of others, like football ,boxing and golf. They'll have done their research on viewing figures and I can guarantee everyone, that in the future if I want to continue watching my favourite sports they'll be spread out so that I end up paying more!!!

Brook v Spence (IBF Title)
Groves v Chudinov (WBA Title)
Allen v Thomas (Commonwealth Title)
Kays v Townend (Commonwealth Title)

Getting tempted for a quick drive over to Sheffield tbh.

I'd find it harder to find somewhere not showing it. Literally all my pals will be on this one.

this is 100% a PPV fight, £20 is a fair price

I cant think of many/any Hearn PPv that have been as worthy

True. In the USA what would it be? $69.99? Or like May-Pac $100?

That's still like £60 plus..

Anybody know if you can order the fight in HD if you only have the sports package in standard definition?

I've just ordered the fight on Virgin, seems they are doing HD PPV for this fight now :TU:

It is £20.95 though.

With the fight being on RTL, Showtime, HBO etc. There will be a lot of streams up, but with family friends coming over to watch it, who wants to watch a stream that could go down at any minute and ruin the night looking for another...

Excellent, will have a look tonight. I'll happily pay an extra quid for HD if the option is there.

Being a tight northern twat I sat and pondered for a few minutes as to whether I should pay the extra pound and get it in HD on Virgin.
I'll just have to cut down on my strawberry pencils for a couple of days to make up for the extra quid.
