I emailed Crease about Manny because I thought he forgot to include him, but nope, my mistake. His best finish was 14th in 3 divisions, but his point totals add up to 38 which is likely more than many if not most of the chosen 74, and there may be other multidivision fighters also like Jimmy Barry, so WTF? Roy Jones totaled 68, more than most of the 74 Crease has "Chosen" via his system.

Wow, hold up. I did NOT "choose" anything. The 74 fighters who reached a top ten placing was because the vote was open to ALL BoxRec members. And every single person who voted in any of the eight threads had a bearing on the outcome.

Don't even know why he asked for a numerical order when it appears everyone gets a single point

You were NOT asked to put the 26 fighters of your pick in "numerical order". Most are putting their list in alphabetical order, just so it is easier to read and check for fighters.

- Crease, nobody begrudges that you sorta fell down short of the finish line with your own words failing you. It's a sorta epic undertaking in its fashion and is to be commended for a favorable board interest.

Simple irrefutable facts is you asked for a rating of the ostensible 8 original boxing divisions(only one original division, the open class, now is heavyweight. The other are junior divisions slowly added over the decades and now junior-junior divisions). Your ratings assembled by your points system yielded over 160 fighters all ranked by points in their divisions. Yet you only provided 74 self selected, supposedly needing backup for the uncounted 26 needed out of the remaining 90 or so fighters already ranked on your list. When provided that nonsensical vote, you could still only see fit to select less than 26, leaving all asking WTF happened to the 100?

You have 90+ fighters all with assigned points, rank em from highest to lowest, and as I anticipate, before you reach your top 26 fill ins, probably somewhere around the 20 mark there will be a massive tie resulting in over one hundred fighters. One more thing, I expected the 100 list to be ordered 1-100, but it is not. OK, you never promised us a rose garden either, or to rank the 100, but you did promise 100 and simply petered out. Hope you have recovered as it was obviously something of a strain.
