Abraham knows time if against him. He's decided to not fight for the WBO although he's earned the mando status and instead, fighting Eubank Jr. for the IBO title closer to home, maybe knowing he won't win anyway.. but definatelty picking up some good money.

Thought he would have a piece of the ppv with a downside guarantee...

With the allegations being that the last one did about 65k in PPV sales I'll be surprised how they manage to pay Eubank Jr £3million, Abraham 6 figures and also put 6 figures into the undercard. In saying that the tickets may end up costing an arm and a leg. I do think Jr is a good enough draw to sell Wembley arena out with a sensible ticket price structure.

Should he beat Abraham he should take AA spot as no.1 in the WBO rankings for a shot at Ramirez.
He is currently no.4 with the WBC rankings so he isn't a million miles away from the Dirrell/Smith winner.
I would like to see him go after the Zeuge/Smith winner for the WBA 'Regular' if he beats Abraham. The WBA 'Regular' would put him in line for a shot at Groves.

Come the end of the year he could be in line for a shot at any of the WBO, WBC or WBA Titles...

I reckon Eubank will be getting maybe £500k plus a slice of PPV so about £501k

King Arthur will be getting double that or why would he bother fighting him.

But would Eubank be prepared to travel? Ramirez's last ten fights have been outside of Mexico (9 US 1 in China) so he's essentially a US fighter. He was only 21 last time he fought in his own country & I don't think the Eubanks have that much financial clout to bring him to the UK - although a classic fight against Abraham will prove me wrong

Someone mentioned that there could be a British Supermiddleweight Super Six Tournament but a decent Super Six would be....

I actually think Callum smith is overrated and will get exposed v Dirrell but that's for another thread. As for Ramirez coming here it is possible because I don't think he (or Bob) have as much pull in the U.S. Now. Bob doesn't have many HBO dates like he used to.

Let's see it is only an assumption Eubank will get the no 1 spot in the WBO.

Ramirez is due a mandatory and at one point looked like a very pointless Abraham rematch was on the cards.

agreed, the Ramirez fight would be a good one but I think it is the toughest for the least money.
The WBA route is the one I would go down if I was Eubank jr, Zeuge then onto Groves...

I also agree Ramirez is the hard road, and an eventual match with Groves is the big money fight and easier to arrange through Matchroom.
As a fan, I would love either fight.
There is a chance, that Eubank might not have such an easy time of it with Abraham, there is a possibility he might get chinned early as previously discussed by other posters. If it goes past 5, I think Chris will win. If it was Abraham of 2013 it would be a different story.
Should be good, Chris can learn a lot from it win or lose. Abraham has tons of experience

Eubank for me rather comfortably, Abraham has been regressing down the levels for sometime. Will be interesting to see how Eubank performs in his first test at supermiddleweight. Some real nice British fights out there if he looks good.
