People love that eye test with no facts (resume) to back it up.

Beating opponents is essentially the most important thing, but there's a place for the eye test, how good someone actually looks. You're a slave to resume and judge nothing for yourself world ranked

IMO, Buatsi is a LHW ATG. He just didn't prove it yet.

There is a place for it but not ATG arguments. Never heard someone say on the eye test this guy is ATG at a weight without the resume issue coming up. And your right about one thing BEATING opponents is essentially the most important thing. Like I said before I like to have facts with my opinions.

People were saying the same thing when fanboys were talking up Lomachenko as the messiah. They're eating their words now because Lomachenko is a high p4p fighter. I'm expecting it'll be the same with Usyk. Usyk is the future of the HW division. The SAVIOR of the HW division.
People also called David Price, Amir Mansour, Seth Mitchell, Deontay Wilder, David Haye, and Bryant Jennings the saviors of the heavyweight division.

Lomachenko might be P4P #1 or #2 or #3 depending who you ask, but nobody considers him Top 5 in any weight class he's competed in yet.
Gilgamesh, would you be so kind and write your top 5 CW ATG list ?
1. Evander Holyfield
2. James Toney
3. Marco Huck
4. Dwight Muhammad Qawi
5. Vassily Jirov
Gilgamesh, I agree with you about #1. Neglect Usyk this time, but where is David Haye ? Please, do not understand this personally, but any list without David Haye is very questionable.

David Haye's top 5 cruiserweight wins:

Jean Marc Mormeck
Enzo Maccarinelli
Giacobbe Fragomeni
Alexander Gurov
Vincenzo Rossitto

He's hardly got the No. 2 spot nailed down.

There are a few guys in the tournament who can surpass Haye's resume if they win the whole thing.

The best cruisers move up, but if someone was a career cruiser, there cruiser may be more impressive, even though they could be the inferior fighter

If that makes sense

Adamek and Cunningham were decent CWs, but at HW they have been exposed.

My point is basically

Jonny Nelsons cruiser career is a record number of defences etc, but he openly admitted he wanted no part of the heavyweight scene, i.e. Facing Lennox Lewis

David haye had far fewer fights and moved on. However despite a brief cruiser career, he is still be far the better man at cruiserweight still
