Groves, a level above Cox who hasn't shown anything in a real fight to make me think he's anything more than a British level bully. All this gym whipsers rubbish means nothing on fight night.

Yes, the two certainties of British boxing: that the fighter in question has banged Khan's wife and KO'd AJ in sparring..maybe at the same time

George's tailoring has improved. That was quite a nice suit.

Haven't really seen many exciting things from Cox - I think he would suit Middleweight more. I think George outboxes him from start to finish, controlling the fight behind the jab.

UD for Groves scores like 117 - 111

Any word on undercard for this yet? As it's on ppv, I would hope for a couple of decent scraps.

I'm quite looking forward to this. Cox is getting leathered for sure but he is going to go head butt crazy when he doesn't get his own way.

Just remember how easy Groves had it with Brophy. I'm not convinced Cox would beat Brophy or Fielding.

Disgusting it is PPV along with the Eubank fight the week before.

Both should be ITV1

It's getting close.
Eubank is already spouting off after his big win on the weekend.
Pressure is on George to make a big showing here.
This was my pick of the first round of the WBSS for entertainment factor.

On the flip side Cox is being so overlooked he can't be in need of anything else to fire him up for this one and invoke a bit of underdog spirit. I've seen nothing of Cox to suggest he can win however but you'd think he won't be lacking in the motivation for this one, massive name, belt on the, everyone writing you off and (I'd assume) an even bigger pay day after this one.

Just hope whoever does it, doesn't pick up an injury. The fight with Eubank takes place in January so I've read not a massive amount of time if it was a significant injury.
