About 12 seconds of the highlights are anything to go by.

Im using my common sense, noone loves a pound note more than Paulie its working what hes doing. Yet if they fought for real, 12 rounds, Pauli would win most rounds before gassing and would be stopped late on. Again, 38 year old shot to shit ex fighter not that fella in your head who won a few early rounds off Cotto a literal fornicating lifetime ago.

I thought Paulie beat Broner. That was only a few years ago. Probably should have hung them up after that though, he got shot in a hurry. I'm not sure he was even a good pick for a partner.

I love Paulie, i could listen to him all day long, and Conor would be a great pay day for him next year. But that talk almost is his downfall, he's so good at talking he believes it himself. His reflexes are have gone and he never had pop as we know, so if he cant get out the way anymore then he shouldnt take the fight.

btw my fav fight quote of the week from steve collins jr

'His only weakness really was his defence. I didn’t find it too hard to land leather on him, and if you’ve got a guy like Floyd, he may find it even easier.'

Floyd may or may not find it even easier than you.
Really Steve....

Id imagine he would be able still to outbox conor over 12. Unless he really is shot.

Conor doesnt have very good stamina hinself. I bet he will struggle do 12. He fades pretty quick. He had diaz in all sorts of grief in thr 1st fight his arsehole blew out.

I think theres a book already on which Paulie is favourite so you may be right. Personally i would favour Mcgregor, its another six months down the line, so nearly 18 months after getting stopped by eggington for Paulie, be fornicate all left in the tank by then imo.

Full disclosure, im off there in the morning from Heathrow, good tickets, four nights on the strip, ill make this fight seem exciting even if it kills me!!!

I know. But I wouldn't be at all surprised if McGregor was able to land one big punch on Khan over 12 rounds, which is likely all it would take.

Suddenly McGregor is a puncher?? And punches harder than the Maidanas of this world? You are putting him in the same punching bracket as Canelo??
Even if he could punch that hard he needs to have the capibility of landing one, he has never even had an amateur fight

Enjoy man, wish it was me :TU: when I was looking at tickets it was just too expensive. Like 18k for a decent ringside seat.

I reckon McGregor hits harder than Limond, who was robbed of a ko victory over Khan. And I know he's never had an amateur fight, but he still has plenty of punching experience, it's not like he's coming from a non-combat sport.

Regardless, I'm not necessarily saying McGregor would beat Khan, just that I give him a chance due to Khan's fragility.

I'd say his punch power is definitely for real. He seems capable of stunning someone routinely with one punch.

The difference is, boxers tend to anticipate the type of shots he throws very easily. MMA fighters tend to have very low guards as they are worried about blocking kicks, and being able to stuff takedowns as well.

His big stand out KO is Aldo. Go and watch it, he comes in chin up square on and eats the shot. He'll never find Mayweather in a position like that, and he didn't knock him out cold even with the two extra shots he landed clean with Aldo defenceless on the floor. He doesn't hit like a Mosley, Canelo etc certainly not against a boxer who's used to riding shots and blocking them.

I've seen him floor people with single shots numerous times, he can hit, I'm not saying he'd be as effective against a boxer, of course not, but his power is definitely there. Mosley was a monster at 147, few people hit like him, even in boxing, so that's no great knock.

Canelo's power seems far less impressive when he's fighting people of similar stature. I'd say Canelo is heavy handed, but he's not a KO artist, he tends to bludgeon people over the stretch, unless of course he's got someone like Khan in front of him, who is smaller, carries his chin like a kid holding a toffee apple, and can't take a punch.

Yes, I'd imagine Khan would find it pretty easy to overwhelm him with his speed, McGregor would eat a tonne of shots very quickly. McGregor does have quick hands, but he can't punch for shit in combination.

He can hit, but it's not boxing shots. The stand up game in MMA (and I am not into the sport just watched McGregor since this fight was announced) is sloppy in the extreme to boxing if his fights are anything to go by (and they say his stand up game is up there). I doubt he's capable of landing these shots against a Mayweather. A less experienced fighter fine, but a Mayweather? No way. I'm very doubtful about this unorthodoxy he allegedly brings, he looked terrible on the inside against Paulie, albeit short clips I know.
