Then it is MY mistake and I owe him an apology. I don't know where I got the allegation of watching Greb footage from. The old brain not catching on like it used to.

I wouldn't beat my self up over it. The likelihood of existing Greb footage is roughly the same as Graziano-Zale 1&2 footage, about zero. Kalan lied, but then again he also claim to have a professional record, a secret record it seems.

The 3 Graziano-Zale fights were all recorded and all existed at one time. Those fights were too important not to be filmed for posterity and they all were -- and distributed for viewing. But like so many movies and historical documentaries that have been lost, stolen, destroyed, or were not properly maintained and deteriorated beyond repair -- viewable copies of 2 of the 3 Graziano-Zale fights can no longer be found.

Shot by a spectator. I'm talking about official professional footage and it does not exist.

Not anymore. At least nobody can find it. What I saw as a youngster seemed to be professionally shot footage with voice over commentary. It was ringside.. Not 50 rows back in the cheap seats.

Marvelous had the greatest boxing chin pound per pound of all time.

Julian Jackson
Gerald McClellan
Nigel Benn
Iran Barkley

Hagler had a strong chin, but not on the order of a Gennady Golovkin who's had many more World Title Fights without a loss... I've seen Marvelous hurt and knocked down. Short, little Mugabi certainly reached him. Leonard certainly caused him pause a few times with those hard flurries.. He didn't go pell-mell after little bitty Duran.. He did take on the chinny and skinny Hearns of course.

He knew he had a huge advantage inside of Tommy’s long, skinny arms.. Marv knew he could get on that weak chin.. He knew that Hearns trading bombs with him, instead of boxing him, was the stupidest thing since Floyd Patterson thinking the rematch with Sonny Liston was going to be any different.

I have never seen a boxer taking a shot to the chin better than Marvelous in my lifetime. His fistic war with the great Tommy Hearns proved it.

That's all right... The great Tommy Hearns got knocked out 3 times when he was in his 20's. Not a massive feat to accomplish.

When you blow somebody away who's never been knocked out before or after you fight him -- that's a real feat... Like James Toney did to MIchael Nunn.

And that other guy who knocked Hearns out in 3? ... Iran Barkley? ... Toney got him out too...

And Toney fought Super Middleweights.. Light Heavyweights.. Cruiserweights.. and Heavyweights -- without ever getting stopped.. Hagler didn't.

Hearns had massive and epic fights with boxing legends Hagler, Leonard and Duran. Fights that lived up to the hype and are widely talked about to this day, fights that went down in history as some of the greatest. Toney had only one truly big and anticipated fight in his career and we all know what happened in that fight don't we Kalan?

I consider Toney a great fighter but he just never had the legendary fights or the career of Hearns. Toney had the better chin but he didn't have the natural power of Hearns and he couldn't box like Tommy, not many could. People loved to watch Tommy, they never cared much about Toney.

Dick Tiger seems to have faced better punchers than Hagler. Wouldn't his durability be proven at a higher level?
