Haye is now with Ismael Salas. Whilst we will never see the best of Haye again, I truly believe Cuban Salas will make a difference.
I just hope Haye is fully fit and doesn't just come out swinging. He started landing clean as well before his achilles f*cked up.. he hit a nice right left, or left right, which ever way it was.PredatorHayds wrote:Haye will win this via KO if he's fit.
Being fit is a huge doubt with Haye but I'd fancy him to win this at 75% fitness.
TBH I lost close to £1500 on this backing Haye. Biggest loss betting wise of my life. I knew about the dodgy Achilles but thought he'd knock him out as long as it didn't snap![]()
If Haye keeps function of his limbs for the fight he should win comfortably.
Expect beef before, and afterwards if Haye wins as they will likely try to sell us a trilogy.
Yeah made I don't usually bet big but I bucketed £560 on Haye last time out as I was so confident. I'm steering well clear this time.PredatorHayds wrote:Haye will win this via KO if he's fit.

What was his Tyson Fury activity? He was injured wasn't he?deadpan wrote:I find Haye an odd one. When he turned pro and was on BBC he was incredibly personable. He was refreshingly honest about the Mock knockdown and was gracious straight after the Thompson loss. He was easy to root for up to and including the Enzo fight. Then comes the graceless Klitschko behaviour, the Audley gang rape quote and his contemptible and contemptuous Tyson Fury activity. What happened to the charmer?
I think that his best approach would be to go on the charm offensive in the Bellew build up and let the Liverpool lip swear himself senseless.
I don't get the certainty that his body is done for. He's never had an Achilles issue before. It was his shoulder that caused problems for him after Chisora.littlepug wrote:I think Bellew will repeat the trick, Haye hasn't looked good since the Chisora fight and quite frankly his body is fcuked, be very surprised if Haye can get through 12 rounds without getting injured
Yeah get that but there always seems to be something wrong with him, plus the extra weight that he seems to carry these days has had a negative effect on his footwork, speed and general mobility, at least that's how I see it anywaydirk2686 wrote:I don't get the certainty that his body is done for. Hagler/Leonard was a Monday wasn't it? Sunday fight is cool, good way to finish the weekend. Haye is despised by many true boxing fans but still revered by casual fans and we'll all tune in to watch because we know that if the old lion can still bite some arse it could be beautiful and who doesn't want to see Bellew get flattened by a genuine big puncher? This will be car crash tv and we know it!SaadOffTheDeck wrote:I like the fight on Sunday. Most of the big fights back in the day were on weekdays. I miss that.
Spot on, exactly how I saw itlefty wrote:I couldn't give a flying poo about the fight. Haye looked like a washed up has been (pre injury) and Bellew struggled to knock out a one legged man. I be more than happy, if the fight never happened.
Your right on every count but the sad thing is, boxing has become a sideshow. Even more sad is that the fight will sell.Syntax Error wrote:The build-up is going to be painful.
Bellew morphs into Nobby Nobbingham in pre-fight mode & he becomes unbearable.
Haye is more measured, but still equally annoying as he will talk as if he is still relevant or has done something of note in the HW division recently, then after all that, he'll either pull out injured or come into the ring with a severed arm try & claim some sort of moral victory!![]()

Don't worry you got the even more woeful Eubank-Yildirim and Groves-Cox fights inbetween.Exoddus wrote:This will be the first PPV in ages where I have absolutely no interest in it.
I was convinced Haye would win even with injury.Finn wrote:Yeah made I don't usually bet big but I bucketed £560 on Haye last time out as I was so confident. I'm steering well clear this time.PredatorHayds wrote:Haye will win this via KO if he's fit.

Out of all those, Groves v Cox is by far the most interesting to me. Not that I’ll be buying any of them.PredatorHayds wrote:Don't worry you got the even more woeful Eubank-Yildirim and Groves-Cox fights inbetween.Exoddus wrote:This will be the first PPV in ages where I have absolutely no interest in it.
