HBO had a chance to outbid Showtime for the right to renew Stevenson's contract, which would have secured a bout between Adonis and Sergey, where negotiations had already commenced, but they didn't.

Stevenson's handlers actually approached HBO and asked them to raise their bid, but they refused to do so. At this point in time, Adonis knew that the outcome of renewing his contract with HBO would have contractually-obliged him to face Sergey Kovalev.

HBO knew that the consequence of refusing to outbid Showtime, would inevitably scupper the possibility of a highly-anticipated bout between Kovalev and Stevenson.

A couple of years or so later... Kathy Duva lobbied the WBC to make Krusher the mandatory challenger for Stevenson's world title, which they subsequently did, but then Team Krusher refrained from participating in the purse bid process, even though Adonis had committed himself in competing in the bout.

I can provide loads of videos, interview transcripts etc. to prove that this actually happened.

Saad didn't disprove a damn thing, because he can't undermine a single sentence that I've written about the matter!

EO needs a signed and notarized statement by Chickenson saying that he ducked Kovalev. Only then he may change his mind. You are arguing with a brick.

I don't understand what Stevenson's career is all about, he's wasted so much time.
That said a fight with Kovalev would be appealing but knowing Adonis it won't happen until he's in his 50's, I don't get Adonis Stevenson's direction at all.
