Ruiz had a punch, but seldom used it. To over-use the sneaky, quick overhand right that he had left him open to counters. But he dropped Hasim Rahman (2nd round I think), and had Jones flying across the ring (1st round), dropped Holyfield, wobble Valuev, etc. He had good power. Just seldom let it fly.

Big punch but just seldom used it. Guess this is boxing's new myth.
He had Jones was flying around the ring in the first round? Just watched round one again. That never happened.

He was unable to stop Jimmy Thunder.
Even Chris Byrd stopped Jimmy Thunder.
