Blacks have only had about 50 years of being able to use the same bathroom as a white person or even go into a "white" cafe,im sure whites have said worse to a black man's face in the previous 500+ years and blacks just had to get on with it. I think us whites need to adopt abit more thicker skin than some of us have now.

It wasn't just racist towards whites, son.

By saying "superior black race" he's also saying blacks are superior to Hispanics, Asians, Arabs, Indians etc. I'm Asian (Vietnamese) and found it racist.

If it was Fury saying it he'd be crucified. Actually if Khan said it about Muslims been superior he'd be crucified.

Typical of the double standards though where black racists get a pass.

What the hell are you talking about that's never happened in England where Joshua is from .
Are you blind? Do you know your history of what WHITES done to blacks? Watch 12 years a slave, have a look at whats going on in america this poo still exists(not slavery but racism). Doesnt matter whether it happened were joahua is from because he gets told stories about what happened in the past plus he sees whats going on around him as he has grown up. Racism exists in britain and if you dont think it does then you are an ostrich

By your logic, every Jew, gypsy and disabled person on the planet should hold a massive grudge against every German on the planet then?

My point isn’t about the past, it’s not about slavery, which I find draws out extremely tired and extremely misinformed information ( it’s really not that hard to look up and research )

Racism exists in every country. Spain, deemed a first world civilised country, is an extremely racist place for example, especially compared to the UK which is actually one of the most tolerant countries on earth ( the majority of racism accusations thrown around today are usually from those who want to create trouble and believe they are living under the same attitudes that do exist in places like the USA )

My point is double standards. Tyson Fury is actually from an ethnic group. An ethnic group as persecuted over history as any other and the only one left in the UK where it’s socially acceptable to abuse, ‘pikey’, ‘gypo’ etc
My point is imagine the outrage if Fury said a similar thing as Joshua is supposed to have done. It would be front page news and
he’d be run further out the sport. Won’t hear a peep because it’s from Joshua though.

As long as it's just talks I genuinly don't care.
I feel more offended if someone calls me a fool compared to someone calling me a person or anything like that.

I don't particularly care what he said. Yeah he's a bigot but if he's not preaching that crap on street corners and doesn't treat people differently to others, then he can keep his views - as stupid as they are. He's emulating Ali, who was all for a black homeland and all that garbage.

True. If a white guy said something like that he'd be ran out the sport. Hopkins got away with it in the Calzaghe build up as well. If Calzaghe said what Bernard said he'd have been sin died!

This in spades. The double standard we apply is racism in itself - why is society much more lenient when minorities express racist views?

AJ has a majir sponsorship with Lynx ( his mug was smiling at me over the Lynx logo at an ATM cash machine yesterday). Will that deal get pulled? I doubt it. Meanwhile Fury was treated like a leper for expressing conservative-Christian opinions on homosexuality and met with a campaign to have him thrown out of the BBC personality awards.

As for Joshua's comment "the superior black race" is pretty out there. In what context does he think other skin colours are inferior?? If his comment was limited by context to only sprinting, or long-distance running.... I'd probably agree with him. But it seems he think blacks are superior to all other races, full stop. No defending it really.

Dillian Whyte told everyone a long time ago that the Anthony Joshua that exists in the public perception is not who he actually is. Even Eddie Hearn has alluded to their being more to Joshua than is generally seen hin his very PR based interviews. Over the last few months I think Joshua has actually been encouraged to let loose a little bit, to show a bit more of himself....

At the end of the day AJ is a guy that clearly 'enjoys' hurting and brutally knocking people out. He's obviously got a nasty, arrogant side, we've seen glimpses of it in his interviews with Kugan when a question hasn't sat right with him. His halo has certainly slipped....but in truth it was never there to begin with! Get on the wrong side of Joshua and he'd be eager to smash your face in at the drop of a hat make no mistake.

Is Joshua a proper hard core racist at heart? Probably not, in fact I very much doubt it....it was more just a crass way of trying to insult a fellow black man with an ugly racial remark. But it certainly shows an uglier side to his character and to his mindset. And its true if Tyson Fury....or for that matter any other white fighter had come out with something like that, then they'd be absolutely lambasted for it.
