Ive actually started to warm towards BJS since he outboxed Lemeuix. I see it as a 50/50 now tbh. At the time I made that prediction BJS hadn't fought in nearly a year and had looked awful. He seems to be taking things a lot more serious now under Dom Ingle. I think he's a tough night for anyone when he's on form and prepared. Seems to be enjoying life in Sheffield these days.

Proper 50/50 fight if it happens I'd favour Saunders but only slightly. Think it would be a cagey fight

100’s of times. I’ve picked black guys, non travellers and Asians to lose to. It just so happens I’ve never picked Tyson or bjs to get beat (which they haven’t) so I’m obsessed! If you said Eubank and Benn were great and I accused you of favouring black lads I’d be rightfully banned!keithmoonhangover wrote: ↑01 May 2018, 10:13Have you ever picked someone to beat a traveler? Off of his ragged showing against Sulecki Saturday, Jacobs would be a sitting duck for Saunders.
The speed, quickness and smart movement of Saunders would offset any strength and power edge that Jacobs might have.
Jacobs likes you to come to him. Saunders wouldn't and the Miracle Man would have a frustrating 12 rounds.

Do I have to? Said plenty of times Peter McDonagh will get beat. Mark Baker, Martin Power, Issac Ward, Reg Robshaw, Danny James, Oathy Burton, Billy Wilson, Charlie Moore, Henry Wharon (!) plus many more...keithmoonhangover wrote: ↑02 May 2018, 04:26Really? Is it because Tyson and Bjs haven’t lost and you live in Darlington so are probably terrified of traveling people so come on here to go on at me?

I've got plenty of mates who are travelers and don't have an issue with any of 'em. I ain't terrified of anyone.mickey1975 wrote: ↑02 May 2018, 06:23you live in Darlington so are probably terrified of traveling people so come on here to go on at me?

I have no problem with you supporting anyone. Your posts come across as massively biased when it comes to Fury.mickey1975 wrote: ↑02 May 2018, 06:53So what’s your problem with me supporting two?keithmoonhangover wrote: ↑02 May 2018, 06:49I've got plenty of mates who are travelers and don't have an issue with any of 'em. I ain't saying Fury is not a good boxer. I picked him to be a world champion very early in his career, If he's fit and motivated, I pick him to beat Joshua.mickey1975 wrote: ↑02 May 2018, 07:49How? You're biased is saying that he's a bigger draw than Haye and stuff like that.

Pirog was far from a novice.
Really good fighter. No shame in that defeat.

Re: WHO WINS? Billy Joe Saunders vs. Daniel Jacobs
It would be an excellent fight, and sadly one that is unlikely to happen (I don't think either Hearn or Warren want it as it's too big a risk with not enough on the table to be honest).
If both pitched up fully fit, motivated and with solid camps behind them I'd pick Saunders though. He seems to massively divide opinion on here but he is a beautiful pure boxer when he's right. I agree with several posters in that it would be a cagey affair, and that suits Saunders perfectly. Jacobs is a very good fighter, losing to Pirog is nothing to be ashamed of, and he boxed beautifully against GGG, although Golovkin's last two fights have seen some signs of father time catching up with him. However he looks much better against guys coming on to him and I don't think his feet are good enough to control the distance against Saunders.
Jacobs is a superb pro though, you know he's going to pitch up in excellent shape and well prepared. Saunders may be in a good place just now but I think he'll be one of these guys who just has it in him to drift in his preparation - there have been too many sub-par performances now to deny that.
If Jacobs can pick up a title, and Warren can use the BT money to build Saunders into a household name then I think it's potentially a mega fight for early next year as part of a BT PPV show. A lot of if's there though.
