i bet after this fight well be seeing a lot of 'overrated', as is seeminhly required from boxing fans even when they get fights they wanted

I doubt it. Lomachenko is very highly rated now even. I don't think he's going to have a problem with anyone at 130-135 barring Mikey Garcia if they make it at 135. Garcia is probably the best pure boxer in the game and on the pound for pound punchers list so Lomachenko won't be able to make any mistakes whatsoever. It remains to be seen if Rigo carries his power up. He's got size and youth disadvantages.

For me, I hope Lomachenko wins. Rigondeaux has lost any goodwill because of his dreadfully boring performances. Lomachenko is an action fighter and puts on a display. Rigo comes to stink out a joint.

One of the things I really hate to see in boxing is a fighter with big advantages just fighting for a decision win when he could go for it and take his opponent out. In this respect, Rigo and Loma are polar opposites.

Of course, I can't wait to see that. Rooting for Loma and I think, he'll win. I agree with the popular opinion, that Lomachenko has everything to defeat Rigo. Size, skills, activity, furthermore he has fights more often and he's still progressing. Yet Rigondeaux is skilled too and possesses a punch. That's why I guess, the fight will be technical and rational from both sides. But Loma's activity must lead to bigger effectiveness, so I think, Lomachenko will take the decision.

That won’t happen from proper boxing fans, only the casuals and idiots on CS will say that. Whatever the outcome of tonight’s fight, there should be absolutely no doubt that both boxers are genuinely elite.

I wouldn't go so far as batter, but I do think Loma is going to do a number of him - just through sheer volume/work-rate, throwing lots of combinations from different angles, and being the naturally bigger, younger fighter. He's catching Rigo at just the right time IMO.
Pretty much what I meant but I can understand why the word "batter" can be misconstrued :D
