since when did the rankings of boxing bodies mean anything anyhow?
IMO you have to fight the No.1 within half a year when you won the title the first time. so he has to fight fat Toney. but it seems that the WBC has become the same hollywood-mickey-mouse-belt like the wbo. It´s a total joke to fight Williams. it´s a farce. a guy who might be not able to become british champion fights for the wbc-belt. joke of the year.

Why do you come on this forum? You dont know anything about british boxing! Go find a German boxing!

Pfft... I hate this big joke.
haha, you don´t know anything about European boxing. Williams was destroyed a year ago by a guy who is here in this forum called "the fat turk". haha. and now Williams should win vs. Vitali, who is at least one class better? it´s o.k. to be nationalistic but it´s better to be realistic. :o

Vitali certainly didn't look classy against Sanders, he got hit with everything but the kitchen sink, and Danny can punch.

I am going to be putting some money on Danny to win this, I make Vitali favourite, but as others said here, he is hardly invincible. I think Vitali's punchpower is good but not devastating, certainly not in the class of a Tyson, he's a big strong arm puncher with poor technique, whose jab and right cross win him fights.

Danny's problem for me, is that he has to take the fight to Vitali on the inside to win, which isn't Danny's usual style, he likes to counter. I think Vitali's ability to take a shot and raw strength will win him the fight, but I give Danny a shot, more so with the passage of time.

I think it's fornicating great that Danny is getting a shot at a world title, he deserves it just as much as the motley crew in the heavyweight division right now, DeVarryl Williamson, Monte Barret, neither is better than Danny when he is in good mental shape.

I´m going for Vitali TKO 5. Faster than Sanders because Sanders hits and punches are harder.
