Really? Wow, that surprises me. I guess the Lacy hype and the fact he was this muscular US star swayed them... but the bookies (the real experts in boxing) had a couple of cigarettes between the two. I remember I bet £100 on Joe and the odds were something like 5/4 at the most.

Everyone on here could see he was blatantly carrying him.
Last week he admitted to carrying Mac for the first 4 rounds to keep the public happy. Seems it was even more of a farce than we thought.

It was incredibly obvious he was carrying McGregor early, unbelievable that some people couldn’t see it.

My memory of it was Joe going back after the first and Enzo asking him how powerful Lacy was. Obviously Lacy had been hyped up as this mini-Tyson monster puncher. Pretty sure Joe just came back with "he can't punch for sh*t."

That and Hopkins Pavlik stand out for me.
