FURIOUS CALDO
'he hasn't earned it, who's he fought, this kid's done nothing in the pro game blah blah blah'

Spence hands a man who is, at best, in the very bottom reaches of the welterweight top 10, his like 5th loss

EXCITED CALDO
'P4P4P4P4P4P4P4P4P4P4P4P4P SPENCE IS DA BEST

I wish there was a 'pat on the head' smiley thing I could use, just to signify how cute I find caldo sometimes.

That's pretty much what I've been saying

My comments have been quite cordial
I hate when someone sensibly stops a brewing fight. How dare you
Sorry.

But it always annoys me when fans argue so vehemently about something that's not factual but subjective.

Some here have actually opined that Sugar Ray Robinson is overrated (he lost a whopping 19 fights) and that Duran sucked because he was stopped on several occasions and lost 16 fights.

So if people can't acknowledge the supreme talents of 2 legendary ATGs, then how can we find agreement on the merits of a fighter whose career is really just beginning?
It's passion buddy. That's what is great about this sport. Fan's passions coupled with opinions multiplied by the fact that we never really see the fights that need to be made to determine the best fighter. These and some other factors lead to the who's better than who arguments that make a site like this so great and bar arguments for the last 50 years so entertaining for people. This is also what stirs the drink to get the interest and money generated for a fight like Manny and Floyd or Hagler and Leonard.

There's no better time then when the bell finally rings between two fighters that you've been discussing and arguing about who would win for years. The butterflies. Excitement. This is a big factor in Boxing's success and almost everyone loves to be the guy that predicted what would happen after thinking about it for so long. I've had some horrid predictions and some great ones and it never affected how much i enjoyed the fights. Passion is good and so is the yapping in my opinion but I see your point. It's an intelligent observation. Odd for this place.
