British Heavyweight over a Russian drug cheat 100 times out of 100 for me and i'd imagine pretty much everyone else on here.

The fact he isn't any good doesn't change that.
I'd much rather watch Joshua vs Povetkin than Joshua vs Price.

I don't like huge underdogs winning. Price doesn't deserve this opportunity against Povetkin and I hope that he fails.
Deserving opportunities and boxing don't go together, never have.Fast car wants a highlight reel ko of Price to show off the huge threat that Povetkin is to Joshua and for 80,000 ' fans' to pay for the privilege of seeing it.
Exactly, you'd have thought Horse would be familiar with how boxing works by now.

He won't do it, but I would love Pricey to go out there and show some Devil in his Whirruk and land some big leather on that cheating POS.

Boxing is littered with examples of fighters who got fights they didn't 'deserve'. So why does it matter so much to you?

Which is all the more reason to want Price to win for me.

Nothing like a plan blowing up in someones face like that.

Like when Cardle took the so called easy option against Barrett to win the Lonsdale outright and got beat.

I'd love Price to win but in reality he freezes with journeymen.

I really can't see the winner of The Battle Of The Pees (Trademark Taansend) fighting Joshua this year :maybe:

If it goes as expected & the Russian blows Price out then he's still behind (assuming AJ beat Parker) the winner of Whyte v Brown & the winner of Wilder v Ortiz. You can put Haye at the top of that list if he looks good against Bellew in their rematch.

AJ going to fight TWICE more this year at the most. :maybe:

The winner of The Battle Of The Pees (Trademark Taansend) will probably end up fighting one of the five fighters mentioned above, all jockeying for a shot at the 5 million quid purse.

And if The Big Plumber does manage to shock the world then he'll be up against Fury, if Fury gets his act together.

you wanting price to lose because he 'doesn't deserve a shot' at Povetkin.

If you want him to lose, fine, but that's a silly reason.

Wouldn’t touch 11/1.

At a push I’d edge 33/1. But I’d say Povetkin falling over and knocking himself cold or getting injured, is more likely than Pricey landing anything of note.

Whyte is Hearn's plan to make Wilder wait. The WBC will more than likely order the winner of those two fights to face each other. That takes both of them out of contention to fight Joshua until November at the earliest (possibly early 2019).

Povetkin is currently ranked no.1 with both the WBA and the WBO. If he does blast out Price, at least one will probably order Povetkin vs the Joshua/Parker winner as a mandatory.

Hearn knows AJ vs Povetkin will probably have to happen before Wilder or Whyte 2 etc. That's the reason Povetkin is being stuck on Joshua's undercard.

Povetkin is at the front of the queue, not the back, he just needs to be made to look as threatening as possible.

Does anyone genuinely have an interest in seeing Whyte 2? Apart from one shot that was landed, Whyte did no better than Brezeale did and no-one is clamouring for that.

I don't get the interest in Whyte. Didn't he just partake in one of the all time stinkers in a British ring? Johnny Nelson would have been proud of the fight. I know Helenius was poor but Whyte was equally poor. He went life and death vs Chisora the fight before and got starched by Joshua. It looked like he didn't know where he was on the canvas.

I think he's very average which is why Del Boy gave him life and death. No interest whatsoever in seeing Whyte get a big payday until he beats someone remotely world class.

Do you think Buster Douglas beating Mike Tyson was bad for boxing?
