The best MW in the world wouldn't lose to Akavov even fighting with one arm.

BJS looked amazing vs Lemieux but one of the things that GGG does 100x better than Lemiuex is cut off the ring. Saunders struggled and was in survival mode when Eubank was pressing forward in the second half of their bout and based on that I think GGG would win the fight. You can't really judge off the Lemiuex fight.

I rewatched the Lemieux fight at the weekend and Saunders was just too impressive. He moves way better than GGG and Canelo, who gives David Price a run for his money in terms of stamina. When I watched the Lemieux fight back I couldn't see GGG or Canelo really having much success closing BJS down, even though they are light years faster than Lemiuex. It really was an impressive performance that maybe takes a couple of viewings to appreciate.

It is not about being faster, but about ability to cut the ring, and GGG is among the best in boxing in cutting the ring.

Making conclusions based on BJS clowning an opponent tailor made for him is ridiculous.

well the thing that stands out for me is how lemieux looked so f@cking limited vs ggg and couldnt land a punch even vs an easy to hit guy, but then compare that to all the problems ggg had vs jacobs and how much jacobs hit him. the roles were switched and you had ggg looking limited.

there is just a world of difference in skill between lemieux and the top guys. he made ggg look like some slick masterful 'boxer' too, even though ggg has never looked like that in any other fight. hes always been more like an educated slugger who takes plenty of shots.

i think if charlo, jacobs, canelo, andrade fought lemieux theyd have an easy time of it. i will say though bjs is good and had an even easier time then i thought with lemieux, but i just cant put bjs at the top based on such a limited opponent who flatters the skills

bjs could maybe be the best, but i also feel he may only be the fifth best or so
