When you find yourself trapped in a corner
Danny Williams, six foot three
Eating lots of right hands,
Let it be .
When you’re 45 and you shoulda retired
After getting stopped by sosnowski,
More than ten years ago,
Let it be .

Can anyone honestly imagine a Danny Williams in his prime losing to Lee McCallister? No, he would have knocked Lee out cold inside a minute. I've glanced at the Williams vs McCallister fight on youtube and it is one of the saddest spectacles I have ever seen in boxing. Even in the first round, before a single punch has been thrown, it is sad -Williams has real trouble with his balance.

Yep... once a career lightweight knocks out a former British/World challanger HW, it's time to never even think about boxing again.big lennox wrote: ↑15 Feb 2019, 11:38 Can anyone honestly imagine a Danny Williams in his prime losing to Lee McCallister? Yep it's horrible to watch. I remember Audley Harrison saying in his retirement letter that he'd gone to see brain specialists about his condition. Basically, they told him to retire because his coordination, balance and general mental sharpness had eroded badly. A lot of people slate Audley - and understandably - but we forget that all boxers put a lot on the line.big lennox wrote: ↑15 Feb 2019, 11:38 Can anyone honestly imagine a Danny Williams in his prime losing to Lee McCallister? And your meant to be an ambassador for this board.

if you all recall, it all started with his admission to a fondness for the well known comestibles of Messrs kipling.

Re: HW danny williams still fighting
Good luck to him. He's living his life, it's not for others to tell him how to do it.

Re: HW danny williams still fighting
Glad he got the win, maybe he didn’t want to finish getting stopped by a former LW.
Odd that the whole card is listed on boxrec, except Danny is fighting under the alias of TBA...
