Gonzalo who boasts more tatts that Big Daddy, has a prodigiously padded record of 74 wins and 12 losses thanks to 16 years of fighting fellow taxi drivers.
That's his level. Good fight for him.

I follow the big guy on social media and when he posts sone training vids he even looks slow in them.
Its a pity, he could have made some money with the WBA belt but blew it.

Gonzalo Omar Basile is no longer on the card to fight Lucas Browne.

However, that all-rounder TBA has stepped up to the ring for Big Daddy.

The big surprise on the night is that John Hopoate has found an opponent, albeit one who has not won his last 13 fights.

Stopped Hopoate in 2 rounds. Browne weighed in at 255.5 pounds, 1 pound lighter than Hopoate.

Browne did look to be in awful shape.

Lucas' manager was asked about his weight in the lead-up to the fight and commented 'don't believe everything you hear' to suggestions Browne would come in heavy

Then he turns up 14 pounds heavier than he was against Chagaev!

Matt, spare us the BS mate.

Shows how little heed you should give pre-fight comments coming from within a team.
That was in direct relation to a post Lucas put out saying he was 130kg. He wasn’t. I’d like to have seen him come in lighter but that’s been and done.
130kg is over 280 pounds.

Demsey 'The Tower of Terror' McKean?
Thoughts anyone?

First Big Daddy will have to get past Bowie Tupou on 21st December.

Big Daddy should be able to do this but Bowie should put on a better showing than that of Hoppa recently, who needs to both hang up his gloves and put the cue back in the rack.

Demsey 'The Tower of Terror' McKean has youth on his side and boasts considerable power, and is a faster mover than the 40 year old Browne who is not much smaller. Browne is now susceptible to heavy hitting and has he now the stamina to go 10 rounds.

Would be a good matchup if it happens, but Demsey using his reach and power would stop Big Daddy and really end his career unless he wants to continue on as a punching bag.

I don't like Browne's chances against McKean.

A couple of years ago, yes, now not so much.

Should be entertaining regardless.
