5 rounds? pants gerald wasingtons the only guy wilders fought in years who never lasted more then that. even eric molina went longer. id think if wilder won it would be a late stoppage, like duhaupas, ortiz, szpilka, molina.,..

banning him from the ring, i dunno, i wouldve thought a face to face wouldve been a good publicity opportunity, didnt they bring wlad in? that fight was done i think but same idea

i thought that wouldve been the main event of wilders appearence

I take it like most of us on here you've boxed at some sort of level? This 'scared' patter makes me a bit uncomfortable! Fighters get scared and nervous before a fight but you'll find the vast proportion don't fear any one man! They would be in the wrong game if they did! If fights don't happen then 9 times outta 10 it's down to the promoters etc....

Well there is a rumour Fury will be waking Parker in. How hilarious would that be if Wilder also walked in with Parker.

I think AJ would feel against it.

Fury isn't walking in at all. He is doing a show in Portsmouth

Hearn would look a first grade hypocrite if he allowed Fury to enter the ring after informing Wilder he couldn't.

All world media going to be there, but wilder just a talker
Wilder wants to do his talking in the ring. Not too much to ask for. Ring call-outs are as almost as old as boxing itself.

They won't let him. So he isn't coming.
He's got an opportunity here to drum up more interest in the fight and get a bigger purse but he's just gonna sit home like a lemon

He made it plain he was only coming if he could get in the ring. They made it plain he couldn't.

So he's not coming.

It isn't complicated.

Never said it was complicated geez
:TU:

Still gets exposure and air time, some people in America don't even know who he is

Free flight, decent hotel, exposure at a big fight that will have a massive casual audience, nothing complicate about it but stupid to miss out on it but thats just my opinion

Ok maybe not of him but scared of gettin koed and if wilder hits him its good night like 39 other guys. Hey its just my opinion, why else wouldnt he sign the fight or even mention it 100% like wilder is? I know its only words but its makes me think why isnt he?

You can shout as much as you like but if you're not being realistic about things like money and venue then all you're doing is making noise.

Fair enough. I don't think he's scared though. Wilder isn't exactly shouting for the fight the loudest either. Not turning up this weekend really makes him look a right wanker! I think AJ would iron him out but Wilder is a definite threat.

To be honest stuart i think (and have thought it since i heard he wasnt coming) its to do with dillian whyte why he isnt coming rather than joshua, whyte is very similar to wilder in hyping up a fight and i would bet a large amount of money that they would have a scuffle before they entered the ring, joshua doesnt get involved that way and seems the calm type in a build up to a fight but whyte is a live wire

Banning Wilder from entering the ring after the fight was ridiculous and tells us a lot about Hearn and Joshuas ideas about the Wilder fight. They had a real chance to hype up the fight, make it even more lucrative and they turn it down.

Wilder has fought Ortiz was made his way over to Russia to fight Povetkin. I think he's proven he will fight Joshua. Joshua and Hearn on the other hand don't seem too keen and im pretty sure that Hearn would have orchastrated a situation where Whyte turns up and has a go at Wilder.

Hearn plainly doesn't want Joshua-Wilder next anyway, and Wilder knows it.

You still believe in leprechauns and unicorns I see.
Boxers have some say in who they fight but promoters and managers have the final say.

I wouldn't say scared. I would say wary though, and Hearn will ensure the timing suits Joshua not Wilder, and that means not soon.

So frustrating. This is why I want Parker (not likely) to win. Nothing against AJ...just wrest the control from JerkOff Hearn
