Daniel Dubois vs. David Allen
Re: Daniel Dubois vs. David Allen
who backs up that dubois did drop joshua? what makes there more substance to that then pretty much any guy who trained with aj claiming to score a knock down. ppl were saying okolie dropped him too, is that true too.
im pretty sure joshua has admitted being dropped in sparring btw, but only by david price

Re: Daniel Dubois vs. David Allen
I just came off a thread where someone claimed that Wilder was dropped three times by Wlad...one source on the internet. I usually don't take that jabber seriously. I had said that IF these fellas (aj and wilder) were knocked down (out cold I was told) it would be all over the boxing world and not just these rumour based BS stories. Joshua did admit the David Price session, so why would he lie about anyone else. It's no shame to be dropped in sparring. It's all useless meaningless drivel.jamamb wrote: ↑19 Apr 2018, 22:21 who backs up that dubois did drop joshua? what makes there more substance to that then pretty much any guy who trained with aj claiming to score a knock down. ppl were saying okolie dropped him too, is that true too.

AJ admitted being knocked down by David price, so why would he not admit being knocked down by dubois?
Only person I've ever read saying he knocked him down is allegedly.

AJ/Hearn were trying to build a fight with Price at the time.

Re: Daniel Dubois vs. David Allen
They never wanted any part of price
Re: Daniel Dubois vs. David Allen
Were they? You mean at the press conference for the AJ v Parker fight they were building a fight with price even though price hadn't even been announced as on that undercard?

Re: Daniel Dubois vs. David Allen
And they had no idea he’d be fighting Povetkin and weren’t trying to justify the match in advance?
Re: Daniel Dubois vs. David Allen
do you think he would admit that he got chinned off an 18 year old novice lol.. of course he wouldn't he isn't stupid.
price on the other hand was a pro and spared aj when aj was a novice so there is no harm in saying he got put on his arse by a known big puncher.

So another low level Brit/Hungarian super middleweight it is for Dubois next then.
Re: Daniel Dubois vs. David Allen
Tom Little or Big Sexy would be great opponents.
Re: Daniel Dubois vs. David Allen
Does Mark Allen the snooker player look a bit like Dave Allen?

Re: Daniel Dubois vs. David Allen
he didn't look terrible in the twitter pic's...
As far as dubois is concerned if he beats little then allen will stay further away..
if he really thought the big man was a bum or had a glass chin then the should have went for it would have been a big scalp.

Re: Daniel Dubois vs. David Allen
allen is the new Jon Mcdermot
how he can go 4 rounds in a rematch with dave howe is beyond me?
it suggests that Allen didn't connect with a single punch until the 4th round. And even then that's not guaranteed.
