just shows how hard it is to judge a person, i had simpson down as a hardcore trainer and looking after himself all the time

to be fair there were a couple of fights he looked below poar, selby especially. i agree re smith.
i think most folk over this way would agree kevin anderson was way past his best by the time he fought mcintyre ,he used to drop massive weight before a fight, that and his style would always make for a shortish career. absolute bull of a man and he could bang. i still think that performance against young mutley was one of the bravest things i ever saw in the ring. at that point the man didn't have an ounce of quit in him. that fight took years off his career,imo.

I fancied Mutley that night although I didn't bet. He was winning the fight hands down as well!
