A few good fast combos landed from Sulecki, but again the better overall work came from Jacobs..

106-103

Sulecki needs a knockout on my card to win..

Good to see a close scorcard.

Credit were it's due for Sulecki. He threw a lot more, however Jacobs was much more accurate here..

My opinion after this fight is, Canelo, GGG and BJS beat Jacobs..

He gets frustrated.. didn't seem to have that much size advantage here...

He called out Jermall.. I reckon if he can't get a world title shot next, he should get Charlo.

Sulecki could stay at MW and be competitive, LMW could still be good for him..

I agree Ruthie, Jacobs isn't showing enough to move any higher than this. Sulecki gave him way more problems than he should have. B+ level fighter. If GGG slips a bit more, that would be a close one, but Jacobs IMO will not be an elite level champion with guys coming up like Charlo who should likely KO him.

ya but just remember the last guy charlo fought couldnt win a round or last the distance vs sulecki, easy to look good vs guys like that. charlo barely beat trout for me and couldnt hurt him, unlike every other good trout opponents

charlos really good but i want him to fight a legit good mw

The SKy team kept saying he's a 'young 31 years old'.. i mean 31 isn't old and Jacobs has fought some decent competition.. he only ever went life and death with GGG..

A good option. And maybe he should wait for Saunders. Cause GGG vs Canelo 2 sounds more interesting, than GGG vs Jacobs 2. But Jacobs is WBA mandatory, they've said. So it's not clear, how everything is going to be set in the result.

I had Jacobs winning 115-112 but he wasn't great again, the last fight you could put down to Arias being negative but Sulecki was outboxing and outfighting Jacobs at times, I could've had it closer to be honest, I liked the look of Sulecki, he's a sound boxer, pretty quick at getting his shots off whether leading off or countering, Jacobs is a quick but Sulecki was beating him to the punch at times

Jacobs looked like he never had any real gameplan other than to walk through Sulecki, the KD in the last round was a cracking right hand but Sulecki recovered despite it looking heavy, the important thing is Jacobs got the win but he'll need to up his ideas if he's to win a world title, I thought he looked gassed down the stretch too, credit to Sulecki he can box ad he's a tough mofo

The KD did look hard amd you're right, Sulecki recovered really well. Much better fight than Arias, who didn't even want to fight.

Before this fight, Jacobs kept saying they've both got the come forward style to make it a tear up. I saw a lot of hard shots land from both men and Sulecki's style surely did frustrate Jacobs. He looked puzzled at times.

The Sky team kept saying he doesn't need to be in these types of fights, he should be in with the big dogs, but IMO, he scraped a win here.. had Sulecki done more, and I think he could have, it could have easily got another way..

The treatment he had was pretty hardcore stuff, must have an effect. He looked very very tired in the interview I thought, it was hard 12 rounds.

It was.. Especially the mid rounds where Sulecki started showing us how to frustrate Jacobs.

I liked the look of Sulecki, he stepped up to the level well. He'll be around for a bit.

He's late 20's.. for sure he'll be around. He showed a good style. If he can keep that up for 75% of a fight, he can win.

if sulecki won the last round it wouldve only been a majority decision, and tbh i think you could defend 6-6 if hed done that.

part of me thinks jacobs gets slightly overrated for doing so well vs overrated ggg

hes good no doubt though, but last 2 he hasnt shined, but ill still rate that over bashing up guys like centeno

I have always thought and said this.

After that fight, many on here believed he could beat Canelo.. and especially aftet GGG-Canelo drew, it carried on. Hearn obviously has to sell him as the best middleweight in the world..

Replay on Sky Sports Action now..

Had he used his jab more, he may have won more convincingly.

Me too. Same score, and same thoughts as HOS. Saved me a bit of typing
I have to add, and you guys will agree, it was a great watch. I never expected Sulecki to be that game, he made the fight entertaining and I hope to see him again.
