Fair enough, if people want to be pedantic, Eddie Hearn has made it clear that AJ won’t be fighting in Russia, but the thought of actually vacating the WBA title hasn’t been seriously considered, since both Ryabinskiy and the Matchroom boss has clearly stated that Povetkin seems happy to fight in the UK, especially considering WoB prefer that venue.

The second article was very recent and Ryabinskiy's words were consistent to the claims previously articulated by Eddie Hearn, regardless of the timelines, which means that the situation hasn't changed one iota.

The bottom line: Team AJ & Team Povetkin are both singing from the same hymn sheet.
