G may win, but I'll be surprised if he stops him. It's like you haven't seen Vanes fight before. He is ultra talented and I see him troubling G early on. He may wilt in the late going. But I highly doubt G stops him.
If your prediction is ultimately proven to be accurate, I'll concede to being proven wrong and award you kudos for your superior knowledge of the situation.

I hope you're able to return the same courtesy when my prediction comes to fruition.
I concede.
Thank for your honesty. :TU:

Vanes' has no credibility at 160lbs. You never even mentioned him until his name was named as GGG's next opponent.
Whilst I know you previously chose to attack me personally rather than answer my question the first time I asked it, but believe me when I say that I am generally interested in your thoughts in regards to this matter, do you still hold the same opinion?

:D Nope. I just tried to hype this match but I agree that Vanes was a poor quality opponent for GGG although his credentials at 154 were good.

He could also entertain by creaming the guy, which is what should happen. I don't remember GGG carrying anyone
I was wrong about Haye and to be fair to myself, I nailed it on GGG. (doesn't make me a genius, just makes me 1 - 1) LMAO!

The problem is Vanes's inactivity and that he decided to trade with GGG. Nobody at 160 and below can win trading with Golovkin.

Otherwise, prime Vanes is no worse than Andrade, Lara or Jermell.

He can't box as well.

And he hasn't fought in 2 years.

Pretty much fails at the top level.
I guess I have to stand by my early observation.

Martiroysan is a serviceable 154 pounder but he had no business fighting for the middleweight title. But he was available and came cheap so the bout was thrown together.

You have to figure that HBO knew it was going to be a dog. The network didn't even feel it warranted a live broadcast in the Pacific time zone.

Just another low budget BAD episode.

To be fair....vanes didn’t look good at all. His timing was all shot as he threw lunging punches. Credit to him for taking the fight but maybe in the condition he was in maybe even David Lemieux would have beaten him, having said that....golovkin landed a clean 8 punch combo to ko him. 8 punches clean! Very impressive for a middleweight!
