The Dillian Whyte fight according to a lot of people.
No I do take your point and it's a valid one, but that's two excellent performances I've seen from him recently, and there can be no denying his attitude and his energy levels were sorely lacking from many of those previous performances.
Pure speculation but maybe those losses where he did it the proper way yet still got outclassed regardless (Fury x 2 + Haye) could have led to the "What's the point?" attitude demonstrated in some subsequent fights?
Anyway he's just coming off a great win. Let's give the old warhorse some credit, eh?

He deserves credit for Takam and he's an exciting fighter to watch. Credit to him because I thought Takam would beat him
I'd like to see him in against Joyce next and then one of the three big ams (Yoka/Dychko/Hrgovic) after that.

I don't dislike him at all. I believe he serves one of the most valuable purposes in all of boxing: a tough gatekeeper who won't rollover. I haven't liked the hype he's gotten his entire career based on things that didn't happen rather than what actually did. For what it's worth I think he'd destroy Yoka and I think him and Joyce would be a FOTY candidate.

You could be right. I meant that's a very punishing schedule you have lined up for him. Joe Joyce is President of the "Who needs him club". Dereck has wisely declined him before now, so has Jarrell Miller. Even Dillian who'll fight anyone would be well advised not to risk his ranking.
As for Dereck, yes I think Yoka would be interesting. Obviously the Frenchman is way more talented but does he have the stones to match Chisora? You appear to suggest not and I think you may well be right on that too.

If you saw the match yesterday, you could easely see that Takam and Chisora where both significantly slower nowadays then Parker and Whyte. Whyte really shows he's growing into the game, despite his relatively old age (old as in, for this growing speed).
Okay, so you have no proof other than a bunch of rambling. Pulev beats Whyte with ease.
Everything that can be messured is factual already and the rest is easely visable, so no bunch of rambling at all, Whyte beats Pulev with ease.
What can be measured? Pulev's last fight was against a throw away opponent. Pulev's style isn't that he goes in a bombs out journeyman. The guy is extremely, extremely measured with his elite jab. Pointless looking at his last fight and saying it indicates anything.

We'll get a good insight into whether Pulev is still a going concern once he's finished trying to catch up with Hughie.
I have consulted my crystal ball (I once had an accident hurdling a barbed-wire fence*) and I see a massive scorecard controversy . Headline 'Hughie robbed in Sofia'

Yep and what everyone is forgetting, fighting an IBF mandatory is UTTERLY POINTLESS unless there's a LOT of money involved. Fighting WBC mandatory's may make sense as it sets up possible Wilder showdown but fighting a high risk/low reward WBA/IBF/WBO mandatory is so pointless. Hearn promotes both AJ and Whyte, so can set-up a voluntary at any time, so fvck the mandatory's, they're irrelevant
