Thankfully they seemed to redirect their attentions away from the BBBofC (which I give them credit for) as pointing out anything proved pointless.
But in the aspects of their mantra of safety first - anyone who can justify this latest matchup is beyond reasoning![]()

Jamie mate I don't get involved one bit with this BIBA stuff, Lee will do what he wants to do but he knows my thoughts on wasting the twilight years of his career.JamieM wrote: ↑08 Jun 2018, 14:50 Bbbofc sanction fights like this weekly lol. Guys who are 20-0 fighting guys with 40 losses and stuff. So don't be ridiculous. Also Andrew Flintoff freak show. Conor McGregor saga on the global stage. Money talks guys.
Guys who have not had a meaningful fight in top 5 in the world and stuff. Anthony yarde is number 2 in the world lol.....
For What it's worth I hope Lee comes out this healthy as he's a good lad but this is dangerous. Wish him and Davie all the best, a nicer family you will not meet. True boxing people.
Re: Lee McAllister v Danny Williams
Why doesn't he start training and get to a comfortable weight and compete again? No offence but I always thought of Lee as a wasted talent... He could've done a lot more with the skills he had!David McAllister wrote: ↑12 Jun 2018, 02:46Jamie mate I don't get involved one bit with this BIBA stuff, Lee will do what he wants to do but he knows my thoughts on wasting the twilight years of his career.JamieM wrote: ↑08 Jun 2018, 14:50 Bbbofc sanction fights like this weekly lol. Matthew and myself have spoke with Lee on quite a few occasions now about doing things properly and getting his BBBofC license back. He isn't interested and would rather box under a BIBA license on these types of shows. Lee is his own man and can do as he pleases but tbh he is way much better than BIBA level imoStuarty wrote: ↑12 Jun 2018, 02:49Why doesn't he start training and get to a comfortable weight and compete again? Re: Lee McAllister v Danny Williams
Definitely David. I put Lee in the same bracket as Alex Arthur. Not as good as Arthur but he could've done so much more as could Arthur.David McAllister wrote: ↑12 Jun 2018, 02:54Matthew and myself have spoke with Lee on quite a few occasions now about doing things properly and getting his BBBofC license back. Arthur apparently was an absolute nightmare in the gym! I don't know what Lee's short comings were but he was a proper talent and could've done more than he did..... In my opinion anyway
Re: Lee McAllister v Danny Williams
Just read that Lee McCallister v Danny Williams will be contesting the WBU WORLD HW TITLE in Aberdeen on 28 July!!!!
Re: Lee McAllister v Danny Williams
The one thing that Lee has always been is a character.. We are definitely bred or inbred differently up this part of Scotland.. I don’t agree on Lee being a wasted talent though.. He done ok could of done a little bit better maybe and could still compete around the British level but as Davie says he’s his own man and does what he wants got to respect that

Nathan Decastro

Will also be fighting on the bill in Aberdeen, Decastro is unbeaten 7 on a BBBoC licence but since leaving them is now 12 -0.
Also Sandy Rob will be fighting too he has a win over the faded Matthew Ellis before leaving the BBBoC he is now 14-4-1

Again another lad on the card is Sammy Hill who was 6-1 before going elsewhere but is now 9-1

Sandy Robb was never licensed by the BBBofC, he couldn't get a license due to his diabetes but boxed on another license in Canada I think.
Also when it comes to Nathan Decastro iirc he was never licensed by the BBBofC either but his fights on Boxrec would have been before they decided not to list the MBC/BIBA results. I remember reading on one of the forums that Nathan was going to try get his BBBofC license but not sure why it never happened, maybe trouble with the law or something? I don't know for certain but I know he was supposed to be trying.
Sammy was registered with the BBBofC so not sure why he changed over.
