Yup. This would be life changing money.
You're talking about people who are already multi-millionaires.
One can never have enough money. Things are expensive, especially when you have high-priced tastes as most multi-millionaires do.

thats a better offer, and what triple g was holding out for, intelligently.
this fight makes more sense than ever now. triple g has lost a belt, so cant unify, and would only get a couple of mil v another contender. and canelo v jacobs seems a very risky proposition.
both ggg and canelo will have grounds to think that they can win the rematch. and if its close again, they could do it a third time!

I'm not sure what your point is.
As long as you're alive, you need money.
Even funerals are pretty expensive, so death has a price too.
You can't just live on love.

Fight Is On.
Golovkin caves to GBP demands.
I guess he IS the sheep that someone here denies he is.
Big surprise. It was always about money.

VM--plenty multi-millionaires and those richer have gone broke.
Their desires are more expensive then even their paychecks.
Plenty once highly paid boxing stars barely can support themselves once the glory years are over.
In the end, even Golovkin realizes the value of big bucks. You can never have too much.

Would GGG take it if his promoter picked the judges? We saw what Oscar's judges did.

Here’s an interesting development that was published fifteen minutes ago and one that I predicted:
"Gennady Golovkin was fighting Billy Joe Saunders in August before Canelo Alvarez rematch agreed"
Billy Joe Saunders’ wait for a super-fight with Gennady Golovkin will go on after it was confirmed the WBA, WBC, and IBO champion had agreed to fight Canelo Alvarez.
Golovkin and Alvarez came to terms on Wednesday over the rematch and will now go to war again on September 15.
The news will come as a blow to WBO champion Saunders, who had a deal in place to take on Golovkin at the end of August.
Saunders pulled out of his fight with Martin Murray this month due to injury, and Golovkin’s promoter Tom Loeffler revealed the Brit was due to compete in a unification fight at the end of the summer.
‘It was a dead deal at noon. We were going to proceed with a Billy Joe Saunders fight. We had a deal in place to fight Billy Joe Saunders at the end of August,’ Loeffler told ESPN.
‘We definitely had an agreement in place with Billy Joe Saunders. I was up front with them and told them if there’s a way to get the Canelo deal that was a priority, but Gennady had no hesitation fighting Billy Joe Saunders because he felt it was a challenging fight to fight an undefeated champion.’
Saunders has been calling for a showdown with Golovkin or Alvarez for several months, and the Brit could take on the winner of the rematch.
Should Alvarez beat Golovkin he will strip the 36-year-old of his world titles and become the No.1 middleweight in the division.
Saunders’ promoter allegedly has yet to comment on whether there was an agreement in place.

So bjs got used as a pawn again. Feel sorry for him but I’m sure he was aware that the Canelo rematch was the priority. If they had an agreement then maybe there was some financial consideration should his fight not occur maybe something significant.

Billy Joe Saunders took a risk on two separate occasions when he signed-up to face GGG, which clearly failed to pay-off, because it meant that he had to withdraw from bouts, pay step-aside fees and also miss out on two paydays against Avtandil Khurtsidze and Martin Murray.
Team Saunders aren’t naïve though, they would have understood that Golovkin’s main priority was to secure a bout against Canelo.
It’s just that I’d wish that GGG’s fans were honest enough to admit that the Brit wasn’t “ducking” the Kazakh nor was he “asking for too much money”, when it was ultimately Gennady's choice to decline fighting Billy Joe on two separate occasions.
I bet you, within six months’ time, some crazy lunatic will create another thread claiming that Billy Joe “ducked” GGG! FFS!

It’s clear as day. Bjs would have fought golovkin. Hopefully we see that fight next.

"Random GGG-Canelo Notes" (Source: Fight News)
• Credit Golden Boy President Eric Gomez for coming up with the twist that convinced Gennady Golovkin to take short money again against Canelo Alvarez. Terms are still being kept under wraps.
• Middleweight contender Spike O’Sullivan has been promised a spot on the Golovkin-Canelo undercard.
• Golovkin had an agreement to go against WBO champ Billy Joe Saunders in August if the Canelo fight didn’t come through. Saunders even pulled out of a June 23 defence against Martin Murray. Maybe he’ll land on the GGG-Canelo undercard also.
• Had terms not been reached with GGG, Canelo was hoping to line up Daniel Jacobs. Speaking of Jacobs, the IBF has ordered Jacobs to face Sergei Derevyachenko for the vacant IBF middleweight title (formerly held by GGG). If the camps don’t reach a deal, a purse bid will be called.

Warren/BJS were clearly told that the Canelo fight was a priority, and they are a backup.
https://www.BS.com/golovkin-sa ... um=twitter
"I was always upfront with them,'' explained Loeffler.
"They knew that Canelo was the priority but I also told them we wouldn't have made the offer if we thought the Canelo fight was going to get made.

It becomes a little bit funny for me. We are speaking about two gentlemen who solved all their financial problems.
I am almost sure that there is not any poster here who posses one million.
One million isnt the cash it used to be out of the 11.500 registered forum users there must be quite a few who have more than that.
It might be so, but, honestly, I doubt it.

According to global rich list if you have 1m dollars then you are in the top 0.5% which means that you are the richest person in most groups of 200 people. Now per 11.500 people you have 57.5 200's. If you make some loser math and then you start assuming that there are bot accounts and multiple username users then a quarter of those 57.5 are 14. So there, according to these numbers we have 14 peeps with their million dollars amongst us. This number seems unrealistically low however since most users here are from western countries where most of the worlds wealth is concentrated.
OK, I have not any million, I will never have a million, I don't know anyone with a million, and I am still pretty happy.
Simply, I don't need a million (or more). I am not from the rich western country, and I still can not believe that extra-rich posters on this forum exist..................
