Joshua said he'd fight Wilder in the States for $50m and went back on his word. Some of the posters giving BJS stick were the ones defending AJ.

Dependent on various contract stipulations and so on.BigDoofus wrote: ↑16 Jun 2018, 03:25Joshua said he'd fight Wilder in the States for $50m and went back on his word. Some of the posters giving BJS stick were the ones defending AJ.
Saunders isn't liked because he's a king sized idiot. FW must be banging his head against a wall with him.

But it isn't about his ambition or word, it is his lying about it.BigDoofus wrote: ↑16 Jun 2018, 03:25Joshua said he'd fight Wilder in the States for $50m and went back on his word. Some of the posters giving BJS stick were the ones defending AJ.
His hamstring will be cleared up so quickly that he could have a full camp for GGG. Mmmm I smell poo

Joshua would have fought Wilder in the States for $50m but the deal fell apart owing to financing. When a deal falls apart on financing grounds it doesn't take the brains of an archbishop to conclude the original figures touted will not be achieved. Hence a rethink.BigDoofus wrote: ↑16 Jun 2018, 03:25Joshua said he'd fight Wilder in the States for $50m and went back on his word. Some of the posters giving BJS stick were the ones defending AJ.

No.
Hearn said the bid was legit and it was down to Joshua to accept or decline.
Despite meeting his financial demand, Joshua back-pedalled.

Or in other words, he didn't make a mega fight with Saunders, and he's left with his unpopular, inactive arsehole fighter who, as has been said, would struggle to attract flies if he covered himself in shite.

You're going to look silly if he's on the GGG undercard!

The late Bill Ives was a huge supporter of Billy and his interest in boxing was purely a hobby. Millions of pounds was loose change to him. He's exactly why bn has slowed down.....

Agree with this, a great prep for a fight with GGG as Murray makes you work and is very durable. The risk of a cut or other injury is always there but you'd just think a busy 12 rounds against a durable work horse who doesn't have KO power would be the better option than fighting the top man in the division without a bout all year? Injuries happen just as frequently in sparring/training for a fight so why not just get the rounds in ffs. The fans who got let down are not even a consideration and I will never buy a ticket for an allegedly show ever again.bripez wrote: ↑14 Jun 2018, 12:05That's true - and the various head and shoulder twitches get worse.bigjack wrote: ↑14 Jun 2018, 11:20You can always tell when Wazza is lying, his lips are movingkeithmoonhangover wrote: ↑14 Jun 2018, 11:12

I watched Wazza's IFL interview recently and you could tell by the way his eyes were dancing all over the place that he wasn't telling the whole truth.![]()
Like most people one here, I have zero sympathy for BJS.
Murray was not an easy fight, but one that I highly fancied Saunders to win - it would have been ideal preparation for a big fight like against GGG later in the year (guess they were worried about cuts/injury?).
Anyway, BJS and his mate are a pair of pricks !
